Development of the evaluative activities of teachers in the conditions of updated education

The aim of this research is to reveal the opinions of teachers about the development of assessment activities in updated educational conditions. The study was conducted with the phenomenology pattern, one of the qualitative research designs. The study data were collected with semi-structured interview forms applied to primary, secondary and high school teachers. The participants of the study consisted of 20 primary school teachers, 20 secondary school teachers and 20 high school teachers who were working in various schools in Kazakhstan in the 2021–2022 academic year and agreed to participate voluntarily in the research. As a result of the research, among the answers given to the question about the advantages of online education – financial advantages, time advantages and transportation advantages – the majority of the participants answered the question as financial advantages. Among the answers given to the question about the disadvantages of online education – adaptation problems, problems in social relationships and connection problems – the majority of the participants answered the question as connection problems. Among the answers given to the question about the advantages of evaluation activities in online education – speed–time advantages, storage advantages and alternative methods’ advantages – the majority of the participants answered the question speed–time advantages. Among the answers given to the question about the disadvantages of assessment activities in online education – connection problems, cheating and distractions – most of the participants answered cheating. Among the answers given to the question regarding the development of assessment activities in online education – improving technology, establishing a counselling unit and preventing copying – majority of the participants answered the question as improving technology. Bachelors and graduate students are offered in the course of teaching computational informatics, the ability to solve non-standard mathematical problems, which, as a rule, are not included in the content of teaching computational informatics. The article aimed to analyze the application effectiveness of non-standard mathematical problems in the course of teaching computational informatics, elaboration of constructive computational solution algorithms of inverse problems for differential equations, during which the bachelors and graduate students develop own professional competencies. The research conducted a review of previous literature on the topic. Formulation of the inverse problem for differential equations for the investigation of which the computational mathematics finite difference methods are applied, is presented. In the course of investigation, it was revealed that at elaborating the constructive computational algorithms of its solution, the bachelors and graduate students develop not only fundamental knowledge in the field of applied and computational mathematics, computational informatics methods, but also develop the professional competences, including computational thinking. Educating future primary schoolteachers to create a communication culture through educational technologies

The purpose of this research is to get the opinions of teacher candidates to train future primary schoolteachers to create a communication culture through educational technologies. This study was created with the qualitative research method. The study group of the research consists of 40 teacher candidates studying in the primary school teaching department at various universities in Kazakhstan. Research data were collected with a semi-structured interview form developed by the researchers. As a result of the research, while the majority of primary schoolteacher candidates found themselves sufficient in using technology, they found themselves moderately competent in using educational technologies. In addition, the vast majority of teacher candidates consider themselves inadequate in providing education through educational technologies. The majority of primary schoolteacher candidates participating in the research stated that educational technologies have a positive effect on creating a communication culture. Primary schoolteacher candidates stated that programmes related to educational technologies and creating a communication culture should be developed in universities. It is necessary to implement the suggestions of pre-service teachers on improving the communication culture and to organise the education given at universities in this direction. The aim of this study is to evaluate preschool teachers' competencies in creating research on psychological and pedagogical foundations in the context of course work, with teacher views. The study group of the research consisted of 40 kindergarten teachers working in various schools in Almaty, Kazakhstan. In this study, the phenomenological approach, one of the qualitative research methods, was used. Research data were collected with a semi-structured interview form created by the researchers. As a result of the research, it has been determined that the self-efficacy and learning tendencies of preschool teachers are generally at a moderate level. In addition, preschool teachers, related to developing competences to research psychological and pedagogical foundations, expressed their opinions about participating in activities, following publications and participating in in-service trainings. In line with the results of the research, it has emerged that it is necessary to carry out studies to increase the self-efficacy and learning tendencies of preschool teachers. The aim of this research is to reveal the views of prospective geography teachers on the teaching of modern courses in the modernisation of geography education. Study data were collected with semi-structured interview forms. The sample of the study consisted of geography teacher candidates studying at university in Kazakhstan. In the research, the situation of today’s geography education, suggestions for modernised geography education, views on modern approaches in geography teaching and the role of the teacher in modern education were questioned. As a result of the research, among the answers to the question about the state of today’s geography education, majority of the participants answered indecisively to the questions. Among the answers given to the question asking geography teacher candidates about their suggestions for modernised geography education, majority of the participants stated material. Among the answers given to the question asked in order to evaluate the views of geography teacher candidates on modern approaches in geography teaching, majority of the participants stated student-centred. Among the answers given to the question asked in order to evaluate the views of the geography teacher candidates on the role of the teacher in modern education, majority of the participants stated attractiveness of the course. Human beings understand and interpret what is happening around them in their mother tongue. It is a fact that in recent years, language teaching has been given importance as a communication tool. Each language carries out the processes of understanding and explaining, consisting of its own specific structures and rules. In terms of the basic language skills involved in these two processes, the behaviours and methods of language learners and teachers who will ensure that they can use their mother tongue correctly are very important. The historical development of multilingualism in Kazakhstan consists of several stages. Multilingualism has brought with it problems in Kazakh teaching in Kazakhstan. For this purpose, it is important to determine the opinions of classroom teachers about teaching the Kazakh language in terms of word structure, the suitability of the contents of the textbooks, and the qualifications of teachers in language teaching. For this purpose, interviews were conducted with 19 classroom teachers working in Kazakhstan. In this study, the findings obtained using the qualitative research method were analysed in detail. It has been concluded that there are points where the contents of the textbooks are not suitable for the classroom teachers, the methods and techniques they use in language teaching are insufficient and these inadequacies cause problems. The purpose of this research is to seek the opinions of teacher candidates in order to develop the spiritual and creative potential of future teachers in the ‘school-university’ system. This research was carried out using the qualitative research method. The participant group of the research consisted of 40 pre-service teachers who were studying at the faculty of education in the 2021–2022 academic year and agreed to participate in the study voluntarily. Research data were collected through the semi-structured interview form developed by the researchers. As a result of the research, it has been determined that the spiritual well-being and creative potential of the teacher candidates are at a moderate level. In addition, pre-service teachers suggested that courses should be given in universities in order to develop their spiritual and creative potentials. Some of the teachers offered suggestions to make practices to develop their spiritual and creative potential in the school-university environment and to benefit from experienced teachers in this system. In addition, teacher candidates stated giving importance to personal development and participating in personal development seminars as suggestions for the development of their spiritual and creative potentials. In line with the results of the research, the necessity of carrying out applications for the development of the spiritual well-being and creative potential of teacher candidates in the school-university system has arisen. Technology for teaching regional economic relationships based on the updated content of education

The aim of this study is to determine the technology of teaching regional economic relationships based on the updated educational content to university students and to determine it. The research was conducted in the fall semester of 2021–2022; the study with the participation of 274 university students was conducted in a screening model. In the study, 4 weeks of updated education was provided to university students. In order to collect data, the ‘Updated Education and Teaching Technologies’ measurement tool, developed by the researchers, was used in the study. The scale used in the research was delivered and collected by the online method to university students. The analysis of the data was carried out using the SPSS programme; frequency analysis was carried out using the t-test, and the results obtained were added to the study accompanied by tables. As a result of the research, it was concluded that the teaching technologies of university students were learned and their updated educational status was good and the values were high. It is known that the use of technology to support individualization and motivation in education programs for hearing-impaired individuals has positive results. This research aims to reveal the views of teachers, students, and parents to develop the social activities of hearing-impaired students by supporting them with technology. This research was conducted with the phenomenology pattern, one of the qualitative research designs. Data were collected through semi-structured interview forms prepared separately for teachers, students, and parents. The participants of the study consisted of 20 primary school teachers, 20 hearing-impaired primary school students, and 20 parents of hearing-impaired students, who were working in various primary schools in Kazakhstan in the 2022-2023 academic year. As a result of the research, the majority of the participants believed the communication problems mostly faced by students with hearing impairment outweighed the psychological and school problems. With the use of education in technology, many applications in the field of education are among these teaching methods and techniques in gamification. Gamification provides many skill acquisitions. In this study, it is aimed to examine the opinions of teachers about the social skills gains of gamification for the application of gamification in preschool education. The qualitative method was used in the research. The study was conducted using the case study design, one of the qualitative research methods. Interviews were conducted with 35 preschool teachers working in independent kindergartens. The data obtained, as a result of the research, were analysed in detail using the content analysis method. As a result of the research, it was concluded that gamification education is especially effective in the preschool period and is effective in gaining skills for children. In the same way, it is seen that there are some problems in the implementation of gamification training. These problems can be eliminated with in-service training.
