Тип записи:Публикация, COMPETENCE-BASED APPROACH IN THE FORMATION OF INTERCULTURAL-COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING(2020-06-30); ; The main aim of learning a foreign language is the development of students foreign language communicative competence which will allow them to integrate as much as possible into the international professional community. This is an important condition for the social adaptation of students to modern life. In the context of the transition from a knowledge-based approach to teaching to a competency-based approach, a change in value orientations, the teacher needs new methods and technologies that allow the teacher to identify the student’s knowledge, update it, add what is missing, structure the training material, and teach not only to remember and reproduce, but put them into practice. Methods that organize learning through desire, stimulate students' learning and natural curiosity, motivate interest in the independent acquisition of knowledge. The article deals with the role and importance of applying a new "competence-based approach" in the formation and developing students’ intercultural and communicative competence in teaching foreign language. As it is known, due to the increased requirements for the level of training of future specialists in higher education institutions, the social demand for future specialists is quite high, both for themselves and for the individual. In addition, the formation of motivation for professional training of students in higher educational institutions was considered from the point of view of a stable orientation and motivation system. In the process of professional training, personal development is carried out. The formation of a professional personality begins from the moment of choosing a profession and continues throughout life. Many competitions have shown that the formation of professional training of students in teaching English in higher education institutions is not profitable without motives, needs and interests. Тип записи:Публикация, FORMATION OF STUDENTS’ SPEECH SKILLS USING AUDIO MATERIALS IN TEACHING A FOREIGN LANGUAGES(2022-03-30)The article analyzes the features of the use of audio materials in teaching students speaking in a foreign language, the description of the introduction into practice of innovative technologies for teaching foreign languages, the specifics of using the audio methods in the classroom in the learning process. The purpose of the work is to determine the optimal conditions for teaching students speaking, as well as to show the ways of the most complete disclosure audio methods based on the development speaking. The article solves the problems of finding ways to implement conversational speech in a foreign language lesson; optimal directions for activating students' conversational skills when using the audio method. The scientific and practical significance of the article lies in its development and implementation of the pedagogical practice of teaching speaking. The paper presents didactic materials approved for the use of audio materials in teaching. An example of an audiovisual method exercise system based on the development of speaking is also given. The article focuses on the effectiveness of audio methods as a tool for improving language skills and abilities. The results of the study prove that audio materials provide an opportunity for deeper mastery of speaking while learning a foreign language. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, AN EXPERIMENTAL APPROACH TO TESTING THE TECHNIQUE OF CREATIVE WRITING IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING AT A UNIVERSITYThis article delves into the investigation of the effectiveness of integrating creative writing activities within the context of foreign language classrooms at the university level. The primary objective is to scrutinize the conditions and outcomes associated with the implementation of creative writing techniques in foreign language instruction and its impact on language acquisition processes. Drawing inspiration from the theories of Noam Chomsky on first language acquisition and Stephen Krashen on second language acquisition, this study adopts an experimental approach to explore the influence of creative writing on language learning.Employing methods such as contrastive analysis, descriptive analysis, and comparison, the study unveils the pivotal role of creative writing across different proficiency levels, ranging from intermediate to advanced fluency stages. It is observed that students, particularly during these stages, exhibit a heightened need for linguistic expression, transcending conventional academic written outputs.Furthermore, the article categorizes and reviews various types of activities involving creative writing, shedding light on their potential outcomes. The experimental aspect of this research involves the implementation of creative writing techniques in university foreign language classes, yielding promising results. Through this experimental endeavor, students demonstrated enhanced engagement, improved language proficiency, and heightened creativity in linguistic expression.The scientific novelty of this article lies in its unique exploration of the intersections between foreign language acquisition and creative writing, a topic relatively underexplored in local pedagogical inquiries. Theoretical significance is derived from the comprehensive analysis and systematization of a technique that is not yet widely integrated into foreign language teaching practices in Kazakhstan's higher education institutions. The practical implications of the study extend to pedagogical and academic contexts, providing valuable insights for educators and researchers alike.
