We investigated the prebiotic properties of Chlorella sp. and Scenedesmus sp.microalgae based on the analysis of their extracts.We used High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) for chemical characterisation of extract composition.Using HPLC at 272 nm, the flavonoid naringenin was identified in the extract at a concentration of 1.343
