Тип записи:Публикация, LINGUISTIC REPRESENTATION OF RITUAL CEREMONIALS IN THE KAZAKH LANGUAGE(2024-10-13); The article describes ritual rituals as one of the most important components of the spiritual life and culture of an ethnic group. They are considered as a phenomenon that transfers the norms, values and practices of the linguocultural collective from generation to generation. Accordingly, the purpose of the research is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the second-meaning scriptonyms, which are stored in the genetic memory of a person as structural-unconscious knowledge and are formed on the basis of ritual rituals. To achieve the purpose of the study, conclusions about the secondary meaning, representation of linguistic data related to ritual rituals are analyzed, linguocultural codes are identified and analyzed. The definition of the methods of semantic transition of secondary significant scriptonyms, linguocultural codes formed on the basis of ritual rituals within the framework of the anthropospecific paradigm is recognized as a method of determining the ethnic identity and peculiarities of the linguistic consciousness of the Kazakh people. The article uses etymological analysis, conceptual and lingucultural interpretation methods to reveal the meaning of language usages that have a secondary meaning. As a result of the research work, it is determined that among the language units that make up the action code, taboo words are often the catalyst for scriptonyms. In particular, the modern linguistic representation of scriptonyms, which have acquired a secondary meaning, is supported by examples from the pages of works and fiction about Kazakh customs and traditions. The scriptonyms analyzed in the research work and the linguocultural and conceptual concepts assigned to them can be used as a means of facilitating intercultural participation, in explaining the meaning and etymology of native words of the Kazakh language in a foreign language audience. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия

Тип записи:Публикация, Landscape Foundations of Hydronym Formation in Turkic Languages(2026-04-15) ;A.K. Karaman ;Oraz SapashevThe article comprehensively examines the landscape foundations underlying the formation of hydronymic names in Turkic languages (Kazakh and Bashkir languages). It is argued that the physical and geographical characteristics of the territories historically inhabited by Turkic peoples (relief, climatic conditions, hydrological systems, and ecological features) have directly influenced the semantic structure and motivational mechanisms of water body names. In this regard, the lexical-semantic nature, morphological models, and naming principles of hydronyms such as rivers, lakes, springs, seas, and water sources are analyzed. The study identifies the function of ancient Turkic geographical terms and spatial concepts preserved within hydronyms and explores their historical-comparative and etymological foundations. The correlation between common hydronymic models across Turkic languages and regional variability is determined, revealing similarities and differences shaped by linguistic and extralinguistic factors. Furthermore, the paper analyzes how landscape dominants (flow characteristics, color, depth, taste, seasonal variation, and surrounding relief) function as motivational features in the formation of hydronyms. It substantiates that traditional worldview, economic and cultural practices, mythological consciousness, and sacral perceptions of Turkic peoples are reflected in water names. Thus, hydronyms are characterized not merely as geographical identifiers but as onomastic units encoding historical and cultural information. The article also defines the place of the hydronymic system within the broader onomastic space, highlighting its ethnocultural content and its role in preserving historical memory. The relationship between water names and landscape is examined from cognitive and semiotic perspectives. The findings contribute theoretically and methodologically to research in Turkic onomastics, historical lexicology, and ethnolinguistics. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE OF THE CONCEPT IN MODERN TURKIC LANGUAGES (on the materials of the Kazakh, Turkish and Uzbek languages)(2023-10-30); One of the priority tasks of modern linguistics and the humanities is the study of language in the framework of the anthropocentric paradigm. The purpose of this article is to determine the degree of study of the concept, which is the main unit of cognitive linguistics and cultural linguistics in modern Turkic languages (Kazakh, Turkish, Uzbek). The article also touches upon such a complex phenomenon as the concept sphere, which has a national character. The importance of the need for in-depth conceptual research in the comparative aspect of the Turkic languages (Kazakh, Turkish, Uzbek) is determined. Nowadays, fundamental research is carried out in the study of the concept in Kazakh and Uzbek linguistics, but Turkish linguistics cannot yet be included into this list. However, the issue of the theoretical study of the concept in the Turkic languages (Kazakh, Turkish and Uzbek) in general, diachronic and synchronic analysis of the structure of the concept, identification of the concepts of the ancient Turkic worldview found in the written heritage and the problem of the need of their comprehensive analysis were considered. The importance of supplementing the linguistic reservoir of Turkic languages (Kazakh, Turkish, Uzbek) with comparative research was identified. During the research, the works of domestic and foreign scientists were analyzed, works on the study of the concept and the concept sphere in modern Turkic languages (Kazakh, Turkish, Uzbek) were selected and the obtained scientific information was synthesized. Research on this direction in the Kazakh, Turkish and Uzbek linguistics has been classified. The results of the study are used in comparative research in the field of cognitive linguistics in the Turkic languages, giving lectures on the discipline of «Cognitive linguistics» for students and applicants of the specialty of philology and Turkic studies. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, ON THE ANCIENT TURKIC STRATUM OF HYDRONYMS IN ZHETYSU(2025-01-09); ; Zeki KaymazThis article deals with the historical and etymological aspects of the names of water bodies of the Zhetysu region, namely, the ancient Turkic beginning of the names. The study of the etymological content of ancient Turkic names allows a deep understanding of the worldview, the degree of education of people of the period under study. The purpose of the article is to study the foundations of education of the population through an etymological analysis of the archischeme of names, the understanding of the meanings of which, at the present stage, causes difficulties due to structural, sound changes (Lavar, Labasy, etc.), to show the structural specifics of the names. The leading idea of the study is to identify the reasons why the names of water bodies, which are the oldest and most stable layer of toponomics, reflect the main points of life, as well as the history of the development of the Kazakh people. The introductory part presents information that reveals the continuity of language and culture in accordance with anthropolinguistic studies, based on the analysis of studies of deep meaningful linguistic layers that bear the imprints of different periods of national culture. The use of methods of linguistic research of the topological space made it possible to reflect in the article the identified ethno-cultural semantics underlying the ancient hydronyms. The main results were obtained based on the analysis of the names of specific bodies of water that have appeared since time immemorial. The scientific value of the study lies in the significance of the results obtained for research in the field of ethnolinguistics, linguoculturology, etc. In addition, the data obtained may be of factual interest for compilers of dictionaries, texts in the field of linguoculturology, ethnolinguistics. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, Speech Synthesis in the Kazakh Language and its Phonetic Features(2025-07-08) ;Zh.T. ZhumabayevaThe article examines the synthesis of speech in the Kazakh language from the phonetic, phonological and prosodic points of view. Word synthesis is the process of converting a written text into an oral form. It is aimed not only at voicing the text, but also at providing a natural and understandable sound of speech. To create a realistic and legible synthesizer, the text is systematized in accordance with orthoepical norms, and phonemic changes, vowel reduction, and sound phenomena are described based on linguistic data. Phonetic and phonological patterns play an important role in improving speech synthesis technology. The article also examines the relevance and methods of speech synthesis, identifies their features and differences. In addition, an analysis of modern speech synthesis programs has been carried out, their advantages and disadvantages have been identified. The article analyzes articulatory, formative, parametric and neural models used for speech synthesis. To improve the quality of speech synthesis in the Kazakh language, it is shown that it is necessary to decipher abbreviated words and numbers, observe orthoepical norms, and correctly model intonation and rhythmic groups. The results of the study can serve as a scientific basis for creating a qualitative synthesis of words based on the phonetic and phonological patterns of the Kazakh language. The creation of high-quality word synthesis will make it possible to develop speech interfaces in the Kazakh language.
