LINGUISTIC REPRESENTATION OF RITUAL CEREMONIALS IN THE KAZAKH LANGUAGE
The article describes ritual rituals as one of the most important components of the spiritual life and culture of an ethnic group. They are considered as a phenomenon that transfers the norms, values and practices of the linguocultural collective from generation to generation. Accordingly, the purpose of the research is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the second-meaning scriptonyms, which are stored in the genetic memory of a person as structural-unconscious knowledge and are formed on the basis of ritual rituals. To achieve the purpose of the study, conclusions about the secondary meaning, representation of linguistic data related to ritual rituals are analyzed, linguocultural codes are identified and analyzed. The definition of the methods of semantic transition of secondary significant scriptonyms, linguocultural codes formed on the basis of ritual rituals within the framework of the anthropospecific paradigm is recognized as a method of determining the ethnic identity and peculiarities of the linguistic consciousness of the Kazakh people. The article uses etymological analysis, conceptual and lingucultural interpretation methods to reveal the meaning of language usages that have a secondary meaning. As a result of the research work, it is determined that among the language units that make up the action code, taboo words are often the catalyst for scriptonyms. In particular, the modern linguistic representation of scriptonyms, which have acquired a secondary meaning, is supported by examples from the pages of works and fiction about Kazakh customs and traditions. The scriptonyms analyzed in the research work and the linguocultural and conceptual concepts assigned to them can be used as a means of facilitating intercultural participation, in explaining the meaning and etymology of native words of the Kazakh language in a foreign language audience.

Landscape Foundations of Hydronym Formation in Turkic Languages
    (2026-04-15)

The article comprehensively examines the landscape foundations underlying the formation of hydronymic names in Turkic languages (Kazakh and Bashkir languages). It is argued that the physical and geographical characteristics of the territories historically inhabited by Turkic peoples (relief, climatic conditions, hydrological systems, and ecological features) have directly influenced the semantic structure and motivational mechanisms of water body names. In this regard, the lexical-semantic nature, morphological models, and naming principles of hydronyms such as rivers, lakes, springs, seas, and water sources are analyzed. The study identifies the function of ancient Turkic geographical terms and spatial concepts preserved within hydronyms and explores their historical-comparative and etymological foundations. The correlation between common hydronymic models across Turkic languages and regional variability is determined, revealing similarities and differences shaped by linguistic and extralinguistic factors. Furthermore, the paper analyzes how landscape dominants (flow characteristics, color, depth, taste, seasonal variation, and surrounding relief) function as motivational features in the formation of hydronyms. It substantiates that traditional worldview, economic and cultural practices, mythological consciousness, and sacral perceptions of Turkic peoples are reflected in water names. Thus, hydronyms are characterized not merely as geographical identifiers but as onomastic units encoding historical and cultural information. The article also defines the place of the hydronymic system within the broader onomastic space, highlighting its ethnocultural content and its role in preserving historical memory. The relationship between water names and landscape is examined from cognitive and semiotic perspectives. The findings contribute theoretically and methodologically to research in Turkic onomastics, historical lexicology, and ethnolinguistics.

THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE OF THE CONCEPT IN MODERN TURKIC LANGUAGES (on the materials of the Kazakh, Turkish and Uzbek languages)
One of the priority tasks of modern linguistics and the humanities is the study of language in the framework of the anthropocentric paradigm. The purpose of this article is to determine the degree of study of the concept, which is the main unit of cognitive linguistics and cultural linguistics in modern Turkic languages (Kazakh, Turkish, Uzbek). The article also touches upon such a complex phenomenon as the concept sphere, which has a national character. The importance of the need for in-depth conceptual research in the comparative aspect of the Turkic languages (Kazakh, Turkish, Uzbek) is determined. Nowadays, fundamental research is carried out in the study of the concept in Kazakh and Uzbek linguistics, but Turkish linguistics cannot yet be included into this list. However, the issue of the theoretical study of the concept in the Turkic languages (Kazakh, Turkish and Uzbek) in general, diachronic and synchronic analysis of the structure of the concept, identification of the concepts of the ancient Turkic worldview found in the written heritage and the problem of the need of their comprehensive analysis were considered. The importance of supplementing the linguistic reservoir of Turkic languages (Kazakh, Turkish, Uzbek) with comparative research was identified. During the research, the works of domestic and foreign scientists were analyzed, works on the study of the concept and the concept sphere in modern Turkic languages (Kazakh, Turkish, Uzbek) were selected and the obtained scientific information was synthesized. Research on this direction in the Kazakh, Turkish and Uzbek linguistics has been classified. The results of the study are used in comparative research in the field of cognitive linguistics in the Turkic languages, giving lectures on the discipline of «Cognitive linguistics» for students and applicants of the specialty of philology and Turkic studies.
