The cognitive structure of the word-formation system and methodological issues of teaching of the Kazakh language

Human beings understand and interpret what is happening around them in their mother tongue. It is a fact that in recent years, language teaching has been given importance as a communication tool. Each language carries out the processes of understanding and explaining, consisting of its own specific structures and rules. In terms of the basic language skills involved in these two processes, the behaviours and methods of language learners and teachers who will ensure that they can use their mother tongue correctly are very important. The historical development of multilingualism in Kazakhstan consists of several stages. Multilingualism has brought with it problems in Kazakh teaching in Kazakhstan. For this purpose, it is important to determine the opinions of classroom teachers about teaching the Kazakh language in terms of word structure, the suitability of the contents of the textbooks, and the qualifications of teachers in language teaching. For this purpose, interviews were conducted with 19 classroom teachers working in Kazakhstan. In this study, the findings obtained using the qualitative research method were analysed in detail. It has been concluded that there are points where the contents of the textbooks are not suitable for the classroom teachers, the methods and techniques they use in language teaching are insufficient and these inadequacies cause problems. Enhancement of scientific research function of future teachers in modern education system

The global trend of accelerating scientific and technological progress, the introduction of information technologies, and the transformation of the vocational education system require the development of professional and general cultural competencies in future specialists. The purpose of the study was to scientifically substantiate, create and experimentally test a theoretical model of the formation of a research function in future teachers of vocational training. The methods employed in this research was complementary research methods: theoretical (analysis of scientific literature on the research problem; theoretical modeling, analysis, generalization, comparison, systematization, construction of the process of forming scientific and professional competencies of future teachers); empirical (questionnaire, interview, testing, cross-sectional method); statistical (processing of research materials, primary statistical processing, correlation analysis, analysis of the results of experimental activities). The result of this study showed that the problem of studying and designing a system of pedagogical conditions for the formation of research culture is relevant in the context of the introduction of innovative technologies. The aim of this study is to evaluate preschool teachers' competencies in creating research on psychological and pedagogical foundations in the context of course work, with teacher views. The study group of the research consisted of 40 kindergarten teachers working in various schools in Almaty, Kazakhstan. In this study, the phenomenological approach, one of the qualitative research methods, was used. Research data were collected with a semi-structured interview form created by the researchers. As a result of the research, it has been determined that the self-efficacy and learning tendencies of preschool teachers are generally at a moderate level. In addition, preschool teachers, related to developing competences to research psychological and pedagogical foundations, expressed their opinions about participating in activities, following publications and participating in in-service trainings. In line with the results of the research, it has emerged that it is necessary to carry out studies to increase the self-efficacy and learning tendencies of preschool teachers. With the use of education in technology, many applications in the field of education are among these teaching methods and techniques in gamification. Gamification provides many skill acquisitions. In this study, it is aimed to examine the opinions of teachers about the social skills gains of gamification for the application of gamification in preschool education. The qualitative method was used in the research. The study was conducted using the case study design, one of the qualitative research methods. Interviews were conducted with 35 preschool teachers working in independent kindergartens. The data obtained, as a result of the research, were analysed in detail using the content analysis method. As a result of the research, it was concluded that gamification education is especially effective in the preschool period and is effective in gaining skills for children. In the same way, it is seen that there are some problems in the implementation of gamification training. These problems can be eliminated with in-service training. The aim of this study is to determine the problems and expectations of vis-ually impaired adult school students in the field of social communication. Within the scope of this general purpose, it was carried out with 30 visually impaired adults in the fall term of 2021-2022. It was carried out with school students studying at the school and working at the same time. The research was designed in accordance with the qualitative research design for tailless analysis of data. In the December research sample, there are 30 school students determined from the universe by the purposeful sampling method. Data were collected with social communication interview ques-tions prepared by the researcher. Decontamination analysis was performed for detailed analysis of the redial data. The result of this research is that visually impaired adults see disability as a limitation. It is defined as re-striction in social relationships, restriction from doing things, restriction from individual activities. It has been concluded that disabled individuals stay away from communication in their professional lives, are excluded because they prevent the distribution of work, and this situation has negative consequences. It is extremely important to bring national and universal values to young individuals from an early age. This study aims to evaluate the views of teachers about teaching modern Kazakh stories over national values. The qualitative research method was used in the research. The study group of the research consisted of 40 primary school teachers working in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Research data were collected with a semi-structured interview form prepared by the researchers. As a result of the research, teachers expressed patriotism, customs, love of the flag, national holidays, historical awareness, historical artifacts, national sports, and handicrafts as values that can be taught to students through Kazakh stories. Teachers expressed the advantages of teaching national values with Kazakh stories as empathy, critical thinking, using imagination, developing reading, understanding and listening, effective teaching, material diversity, convenience in value teaching, and value reinforcement. The aim of this study is to determine the technology of teaching regional economic relationships based on the updated educational content to university students and to determine it. The research was conducted in the fall semester of 2021–2022; the study with the participation of 274 university students was conducted in a screening model. In the study, 4 weeks of updated education was provided to university students. In order to collect data, the ‘Updated Education and Teaching Technologies’ measurement tool, developed by the researchers, was used in the study. The scale used in the research was delivered and collected by the online method to university students. The analysis of the data was carried out using the SPSS programme; frequency analysis was carried out using the t-test, and the results obtained were added to the study accompanied by tables. As a result of the research, it was concluded that the teaching technologies of university students were learned and their updated educational status was good and the values were high. Using self-assessment instruction to develop primary school students’ self-esteem in inclusive practice in Kazakhstan

The article presents an analysis of an experimental work. The purpose of the article is to analyze the effect of special self-assessment instruction on the self-esteem level of primary school students with and without special needs. The study’s participants were the students of inclusive classes of two state schools in Almaty (Kazakhstan). A total of 283 students participated in the study, 17 of whom were students with special educational needs (SEN), and 266 – students without SEN. The study was conducted in the form of a quasi-experimental study. For the data analysis, the quantitative method of analysis was used. In analyzing the data, descriptive statistics (average value, standard deviation) as well as the non-parametric paired samples t-test and McNemar criterion tests were used. The study results showed a positive effect of self-assessment instruction on the students’ level of self-esteem with and without SEN. Distant education studies carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic period are handled at different education levels and from different perspectives. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the problem of evaluation of primary school students in online education with the opinions of teachers. This research was carried out by using qualitative research methods. The study group of the research consisted of 25 classroom teachers working in various primary schools in Almaty, Kazakhstan, in the 2021-2022 academic year. A semi-structured interview form was used as a data collection tool in the research. As a result of the research, teachers stated that face-to-face education is more advantageous than distance education in the evaluation of students. The teachers categorized the problems they encountered in the field of measurement and evaluation during the distance education process as technical problems, communication problems, method problems, and student problems. They suggested technical support, communication support, choosing the appropriate method, and motivating the students as the solution to the problems. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the development problem of the emotional intelligence of future social educators in line with the views of future social educators. This research was designed in accordance with the qualitative research method. The study group of the research consisted of 40 pre-service teachers studying in the department of social studies teaching at a university in Almaty, Kazakhstan, in the 2021–2022 academic year. Research data were collected with a semi-structured interview form developed by the researchers. As a result of the research, it has been determined that the majority of teacher candidates have a medium level of emotional intelligence. The majority of teacher candidates show behaviours that show high emotional intelligence. They expressed it as knowing which emotions and why, understanding the emotions of the people around them, empathising with the people around them, being able to control their own emotions and expressing their own emotions only when they want. The pre-service teachers who participated in the research evaluated the barriers to the development of emotional intelligence in three categories: family barriers, personal barriers and environmental barriers. In line with the results of the research, the necessity of organising seminars that can be guided by emphasising the importance of emotional intelligence for future social educators has emerged.
