Тип записи:Публикация, TEACHING KAZAKH EPICS IN UNIVERSITIES USING PROJECT-BASED METHODSThis article examines project-based teaching methods for Kazakh epics in higher education institutions. The purpose of the study is to identify the potential of project-based learning, develop the creative and research skills of future teachers, and foster their attitude toward national values. In other words, project-based learning guides students toward developing into independent explorers, analysts, and thinkers. A comparative analysis of the genre characteristics and common features of epic works is conducted, and their role in the national worldview is determined. Examples demonstrate that the hero's victory and his heroism in defending the Motherland, achieved through devotion to his beloved, are the primary motif expressing the ideals cherished by the people. Such stories have continued throughout the centuries in folklore and have remained in the people's memory as models. Considering that the relevance of this topic, studied in the fields of folklore and pedagogy, remains relevant today, using the project-based method, students explore the thematic and substantive features and historical foundations of the epic, comprehensively analyze its artistic and aesthetic value, and combine this with modern teaching technologies. This approach increases students' interest in the national spiritual heritage and develops their subject-specific and meta-subject competencies. Based on surveys and discussions conducted among university students, as well as analytical work during lectures and practical classes, their views and conclusions were systematized. In this regard, drawing on the methodological findings of renowned academics and educators, effective methods were used in lessons. The study results show that the project-based method in teaching Kazakh epic poetry increases student engagement, critical thinking skills, and a culture of teamwork. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, THE IMPORTANCE OF LEXICAL CLASSIFICATION OF FILM DISCOURSES IN CREATING A MULTIMEDIA CORPUS (BASED ON THE FILM “ALTY JASAR ALPAMYS” (“SIX-YEAR-OLD ALPAMYS”)One of the most relevant issues in linguistics is the study of the language of films at the present time. This issue is being extensively reseached by scientists. However, the issue of including the film discourse in a multimedia corpus based on children's films has not been considered at its own level yet. Researches on film discourses are reviewed, the concept of the term “the film discourse” is explained in the proposed article and the lexical selection of film discourses that can be included in the multimedia corpus has been analyzed by using such methods as grouping and description to fill this gap. The lexical selection of the film discourse was compiled based on materials of the film “Alty jasar Alpamys” (“Six-Year-Old Alpamys”) (dir. A. Karsakbayev, 1977). The lexical material was divided into five groups that represent the national identity and cultural values. Causes, for choosing words included in each group, were explained and they were presented as material examples that could be included in a multimedia corpus in this selection. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, MANIFESTATIONS OF NATIONAL MENTALITY IN CONTEMPORARY KAZAKH POETRYThe aim of this article is to identify new achievements in contemporary Kazakh poetry through the differentiation, analysis, and demonstration of manifestations of national worldview within its context. The main idea of the research is to investigate the mental issues expressed in lyrical works of contemporary Kazakh literature, examine their connection with the global literary process, and formulate a conclusion that will serve as a foundation for future studies. The methodological basis of the work includes research by foreign and domestic scholars such as D. Kishibekov, V.V. Kolesov, A.P. Komarov, D. Kamzabekuly, B. Omaruly, and A. Sharip. Issues such as national code, national worldview, mentality, and philosophy of mentality were considered. The material of the study consists of lyrical works by N. Aituly and T. Abdykakimov. The research employed methods of observation, systematization and description of factual material, component analysis, and modeling of linguistic situations. The scientific significance of the work lies in the analysis of works by poets writing in the contemporary independent literary movement, which allows for a deeper study of the mental aspects in contemporary Kazakh lyricism. The practical significance of the results lies in their use as supplementary teaching material for courses in contemporary Kazakh literature and literary theory in philological faculties, as well as for conducting analytical studies. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, THE MANIPULATIVE FUNCTION OF PHRASEOLOGISMS IN POLITICAL DISCOURSE (ON THE BASIS OF KAZAKH AND RUSSIAN LANGUAGES)The article examines the role and significance of socio-political translation in the context of modern intercultural communication. From a sociolinguistic perspective, the study explores the peculiarities of translating political discourse, including adaptation to the target audience, adherence to linguistic norms, and issues of political correctness. Based on concrete translation examples from Kazakh and Russian, the analysis focuses on national-cultural features as well as the translator’s linguistic competence and lexical usage. In the context of modern intercultural communication, the sociolinguistic features of socio-political translation are identified using materials from the Kazakh and Russian languages. The main objects of the study are the President’s Address and legislative acts. The semantic, lexical, and stylistic characteristics of translated texts in Kazakh and Russian are analyzed, and conclusions are drawn on the basis of translation theory and general requirements for translators. During the research, particular attention is paid to sociolinguistic aspects, namely linguistic identity, national-mental specificities, communicative strategies, and the role of cultural values. The process of translating socio-political texts is described as an act of intercultural communication, in which the translator’s creative activity and heuristic decisions are examined. The findings contribute to improving translation practice in multilingual environments and provide a deeper understanding of the interaction between the Kazakh and Russian languages within intercultural communication. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, COMMUNICATIVE FEATURES OF AGE COHORTS (X, Y, Z, ALPHA) IN SOCIAL MEDIAIn the contemporary world, social media have become a key space for communication, information exchange, and self-presentation. However, communication within this environment is not uniform across all age groups; rather, it varies depending on age-related characteristics, which are reflected in language choice, forms of interaction, and communicative strategies. The article examines the communicative behavior of X, Y, Z, and Alpha age cohorts within the Kazakh-speaking social media landscape (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook). The study aims to identify differences in language choices and communicative strategies among representatives of different generations. To collect empirical data, a specially designed survey method was employed, and the results were subjected to statistical and linguistic analysis. The survey results indicate that the older generations (X, Y) primarily prioritize informational and professional content, whereas the younger generations (Z, Alpha) lean towards multimodal and expressive-emotional communication. The study describes the development of skills for concise and brief expression of thoughts under the influence of social media, as well as the transformation of linguistic norms (slang, emojis, hybrid style). The findings of the research contribute to the theory of Kazakh-language digital discourse in the fields of media linguistics and sociolinguistics. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, COGNITIVE NATURE OF ETHNOGRAPHIC UNITS RELATED TO THE GIRLIn the research work, the main object is ethnographic units, linguistic and cultural units associated with the girl. Each nation has its own specifics, its own worldview, culture, history, traditions. Their millennial appearance is preserved in the wise language of that nation, people. Currently, as a result of the merger of various sciences, interesting and important research works are being conducted. The scientific direction linking these sciences is the anthropocentric direction. That is, the units included in the object of research are considered with a focus on the human factor, on the person himself. The article examines the works of N.Ualiuly, A.Baigutova, A.Alimzhanova, G. Shokym, T.Yermekova, M.Bigeldieva and other scientists. Also, the main object of our research, ethnographic units are considered in the prism of new branches of linguistics, their cognitive nature and potential are revealed. While many scientific studies and projects devoted to the topic of girls, women, were conducted in different directions, ethnographic units related to the girl in our work acquire a primary character. Such ethnographic units include: customs and traditions in relation to a girl, a woman, their cognitive formulations, linguistic units related to girls in general, with the potential to determine and characterize the national flavor. The study provides arguments in favor of the fact that such linguistic units are one of the main concepts that form the worldview, cultural, spiritual wealth of the nation. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, TRANSLATION OF ETHNOCULTURAL UNITS THROUGH ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: MACHINE TRANSLATIONS AND ITS QUALITY ASSESSMENT(Eurasian Humanities Institute, 2026-06-30); ; Ethnocultural units are the most important components of a language that express national and cultural characteristics and specific meanings. Currently, with the rapid development of globalization and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, it is important to accurately convey these units in AI language models. However, due to the complexity of their semantics and pragmatics, there are excessive deviations in the translation and interpretation of these units. Consequently, this can lead to a distortion of meaning and a decrease in the quality of interaction with AI. The purpose of the article is to study and analyze the quality of machine translations when translating ethnocultural units in artificial intelligence systems. In addition, to systematize these deviations for further optimization of language models in translation using neural networks, to provide recommendations for the correct transmission of ethnocultural units. To analyze existing artificial intelligence systems and their methods of processing ethnocultural units. This also contributes to improving the quality of intercultural communication. To comprehensively study the topic, a comparative analysis of the results of translating ethnocultural units with various AI systems and people is carried out. Translation quality is tested in Python. The quality of translation of texts of different styles, as well as ethnocultural units in different languages and cultures, is compared, and the final indicators of the quality assessment mechanisms for machine translation are presented to determine the meaning and contextual application of the translation. Improving artificial intelligence in the field of working with ethnocultural units allows improving intercultural communication, especially in the context of globalization and the growing need for multilingual information.
