Тип записи:Публикация, Extraction, Purification and Characterisation of four new alkaloids from the water plant Pistia stratiotes: POM Analyses and Identification of Potential Pharmacophore Sites(2023-07-24) ;Gulzira Izmukhanovna Yernazarova; ;Svetlana Kazbekovna Turasheva ;Faisal A. AlmalkiTaïbi Ben HaddaCurrently, during the period of intensive development of scientific production, it is important to obtain phytopreparations from sources of raw materials of plant origin. The biological diversity of plants is amazing. The study of the composition of aquatic plants rich in active substances of biotechnological significance is currently an urgent problem. Biologically active substances are involved in various regenerative reactions and metabolic processes in the organism, being part of enzymes. Alkaloids are important nitrogenous compounds found in the plant and are widely used in medicine. The aim of the present study was to identify alkaloid compounds from the composition of the aquatic plant Pistia stratiotes, grown in a model experiment in laboratory conditions by highly effective liquid chromatography and determine the molecular structure by nuclear magnetic resonance. In addition, based on the molecular structure of alkaloid compounds found in the aquatic plant Pistia stratiotes, a study of the properties of pharmaceutical activity was conducted on the pharmaceutical site POM (Petra/Osiris/Molinspiration). According to the results of the study, 4 types of identified alkaloids were identified by the IR, 1H, 13C-NMR method. They: 1-Aza-10-methoxy-4-methyl-2-oxo-1,2-dihydroanthracene-9-O-b-D-glucopyranoside, 4,6-dimethoxy-8-prenyloxyfuroquinoline, 4,7-dimethoxy-6 - (3’ - methyl-3’ - methoxy-2 ' - oxy) butyl-oxifuroquinoline , 4,7-dimethoxy-6 - (3’ - methyl-2’ - oxy-3 ' - chlorine)butyloxifuroquinoline. As a result of the analysis of the identified POM alkaloids (Petra/Osiris/Molinspiration), predictions of antitumor activity were made. The presence of a (NHd+--- Od-) moiety indicates a potential antitumor pharmacophore site. The challenge is to verify our hypothesis experimentally and to confront virtual POM data and real anticancer screening.Цитирования (OpenAlex) 12Цитирования (OpenCitations) 8 - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, Comparative Anatomical analysis of Zygophyllum fabago L. populations from the Ili-Balkhash region, Kazakhstan(2026-03-16) ;Assem Mamurova ;G. Kairanova ;Zhansaya Abdualiyeva ;Aidana ToregeldiyevaМолдир ЖумагулZygophyllum fabago L. is recognized as a valuable medicinal species traditionally applied in the treatment of rheumatism, inflammatory and dermatological disorders, urinary tract problems, and intestinal parasitic infections. In the present work, a comparative anatomical study was performed on specimens collected from three natural populations located near the villages of Topar, Bakanas, and Miyaly within the Ili-Balkhash region of Kazakhstan. The objective was to characterize the variability of vegetative-organ anatomy in relation to soil differences such as salinity, compaction, and nutrient supply. Samples were preserved in 70 % ethanol, embedded in paraffin, and sectioned at 40 μm with a rotary microtome (MEDITE M530). Microscopic observations were carried out using a Levenhuk D740T instrument, and dimensional data were obtained with the LevenhukLite software package. Among the studied populations, root periderm thickness ranged from 119.35 μm (Pop. 1) to 168.54 μm (Pop. 3). The thickest xylem was observed in Pop. 3 (860.65 μm), suggesting improved hydraulic conductance, while the most developed mesophyll layers occurred in the same group, where palisade and spongy tissues reached 728.51 μm and 843.68 μm, respectively. Such structural variation demonstrates the pronounced adaptive flexibility of Z.fabago under contrasting edaphic conditions. This investigation provides the first comprehensive anatomical characterization of the species from southern Kazakhstan, emphasizing the diagnostic importance of tissue traits for assessing ecological resilience and the potential of Z.fabago in restoring arid and saline landscapes.Цитирования (OpenAlex) 1 - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, Investigation of the Antimicrobial Activity of Biologically Active Substances Extracted from the Callus Cell Cultures of Rheum cordatum Losinsk and Rheum tataricum L. Plants (Family Polygonaceae) using Fourier infrared Spectroscopy to Analyze the Chemical Composition and Identify Active Compounds(2026-03-16) ;Madina Amangeldinova ;Nataliya O. Kudrina ;Gulzira Izmukhanovna Yernazarova ;Svetlana Kazbekovna TurashevaMetin YildirimThe increasing demand for novel antimicrobial agents has led to interest in plant-derived bioactive substances (BAS). This study focuses on the establishment of callus cultures from Rheum cordatum Losinsk. and Rheum tataricum L. under in vitro conditions and the evaluation of the antimicrobial properties of BAS synthesized in these callus cells. Callus cultures were induced from leaf and stem explants using Murashige-Skoog nutrient medium supplemented with 2,4-D (0.1mg/L) and BAP (0.01mg/L). Callus formation frequency was recorded for both species, and green plant regeneration from R. cordatum calluses was observed. Antimicrobial activity was assessed by testing callus-derived extracts against various microorganisms, including gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus 6538 and Salmonella abony NTCC 6017, gram-negative Escherichia coli NTCC 8439 and Klebsiella pneumonia 700603, and the yeast-like fungus Candida albicans R50. Callus induction was successfully achieved in both species, with formation frequencies of 60±6% for R. cordatum and 72±8% for R. tataricum. Extracts from R. tataricum callus cultures exhibited antimicrobial activity against S. aureus, E. coli, and K. pneumoniae. R. cordatum callus extracts showed moderate effects on these microorganisms. The results highlight the significant potential of callus-derived rhubarb extracts in addressing bacterial and fungal pathogens. The study demonstrates the efficacy of Murashige-Skoog medium supplemented with 2,4-D and BAP in promoting callus induction and growth in rhubarb species. Extracts from rhubarb callus tissues represent significant potential in developing new antimicrobial agents effective against a wide range of pathogens, including bacterial and fungal infections. Future studies will focus on the regeneration of plants from callus cultures and the detailed pharmacological profiling of their BAS. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, Isolation and Biotesting of Tannins from Eichhornia crassipes plants: Pom analyses and Antifungal/antiviral Pharmacophore sites Identification(2025-04-12) ;Gulzira Izmukhanovna Yernazarova; ;Svetlana Kazbekovna Turasheva; Madina AmangeldinovaNutrients produce various secondary metabolites, including biologically active compounds such as antifungals. The composition of E. Crassipes aquatic plant contains biologically active substances. In this article, the composition of substances in E. Crassipes was identified using IR, 1H, and 13C-NMR methods. The identified substances were characterized for biological activity using the PASS online program. This was based on their molecular structure. As a result of the program, compounds showing activity against light, viruses, earwigs, and bacteria were developed. The program's scope included testing the substances' antimicrobial activity using agar diffusion assay in experiments. Substances were extracted from the aquatic plant via chromatography-mass spectrometry, and their activity against earwigs was examined. The study revealed efficacy against Candida albicans and Candida utilis earwigs.
