Pedagogical Foundations of the Technology of Vocational Guidance for Students

Today, considering professional specialists' needs, the content and technology of training in career counseling from the perspective of practice are not sufficiently developed. Thus, a search for new forms, methods, and means of conducting career guidance with students is necessary. This article offers a broad range of technologies and their optimal combination in career guidance work with pupils in the integrated system “School – University.” A leading approach to the study of this problem is an integrative approach that leads to the necessity to use traditional and innovative technologies that contribute not only to effective assimilation of knowledge but also an early social adaptation of the prospective adolescents to university conditions. The present study consists of a needs assessment of students' career guidance and career counseling programs in the university. The research is based on a survey developed on a sample of 120 students from the Almaty schools. The collected data has been both qualitative and quantitative. The students have been inquired about their professional path, about their career decisions, personal and professional values, abilities and competencies, intentions for the future, etc. The study's most relevant results show that: students are poorly informed about job opportunities, their expectations for the future are not connected with their own knowledge and abilities, they do not have a coherent career plan, and they encounter major barriers in the career decision process. The results are important for career counselors as they can be used to develop career guidance programs in the university environment. Purpose of the research: to theoretically substantiate and experimentally test the pedagogical conditions of vocational guidance for senior schoolchildren in the context of specialized education. The article is valuable for teachers and faculty of educational and vocational institutions to organize and conduct career guidance with students, applicants, and students.

Self-Reflection as a Tool for the Formation of Information Culture Foundations of Preschool Children

Objective: The study aims to clarify the essential and urgent socio-pedagogical problem of preparing the young generation for life in the actively developing information society. Background: At preschool age, the elements of information reflection are expressed in the ability to flexibly respond to information changes and the ability to reason and comprehend the conditions and results of cognitive activity. The most important requirement in the formation of self-reflection of a preschooler is a critical attitude to information which begins with obtaining the information and ends with the adoption of a conscious decision, the formation of one's own attitude. Method: The primary method of research in the article is the study of literature on the research problem, and a method of analysis, which allowed to assert that self-reflection is an important element of information culture of a preschooler. Results: The authors singled out and described, pedagogical conditions of formation of foundations of information culture of children of senior preschool age directed at the creation of the developing information and cultural environment as communicative and creative space in preschool educational establishment; substantiation of cognitive interest as a fundamental component of stimulating creative and search initiatives of a child; orientation to the personally significant attitude of a preschooler to the process of formation of the information culture foundations. Conclusion: The research conducted by the authors allowed to assert that self-reflection is an essential element of the information culture of a preschooler.

The Model of the Formation of Professional Training of Future Social Pedagogy Teachers in the Conditions of the University

Scientific and technical progress in era of globalization, as well as socio-economic changes occurring in the global world requires the enhancement in the field of science, education, and culture also lead to the innovations on pedagogical science, modern school, and the development of the teacher personality. The school faces the task of forming a comprehensive and harmoniously developed personality. Along with this, the vocational orientation of the student's personality already at the school level becomes most relevant, especially with the introduction of a 12-year education at school. Among all above mentioned, a special place is given to a social pedagogue's personality, since his professional activity acquires qualitatively new characteristics. Social pedagogue is a link between the school and other institutions, between parents and students, and can carry out their work in multifunctional areas such as socio-pedagogical, psychological-pedagogical, socio-legal and socio-economic sphere. Social pedagogue should also assist students in the professional orientation to develop themselves in competitive environment. This research aims to analyze the formation of professional training of future social pedagogy teachers in the conditions of the University. And in order to achieve this goal to do some tasks. We need to describe the process of professional training of teachers and do research on its condition at the university level. All these areas contain various aspects of the activity, and the preparation of future social teachers at the university level should be systematic, practice-oriented, and carried out at the very early stages of preparation at the University. Accordingly, the requirements for the quality of training should also change.

The Development Process of the Ecological Education in Independent Kazakhstan

Today, the world community understands that one of the main reasons for the emergence of the global ecological crisis is the low education level, including the ecological one. On the 21st century threshold, the individual's ecological development is becoming a priority and a meaning-forming factor in state education policy. In many ways, it acts not only as a means of preserving nature but also of human civilization as a whole. This study recommends theorizing and establishing ecological education among learners. The future teacher needs to connect diverse thoughts about ecology and attempt to understand effective practices to cultivate a space of reflection for students and devise effective ways and methodologies to foster ecological education skills thought among student learners. The purpose of the present study was to collect and analyze environmental education undertaken with various subjects. For systematic analysis, selected databases and journals were analyzed across pre-determined criteria. The close examination resulted in 11 studies reporting the effects of the interventions (e.g., hands-on practices, field trip activities) and 4 studies reporting participants' views on the effects of the interventions in general. Later, these studies were subjected to content analysis to present the trends and to synthesize the common findings of the selected studies. The techniques and instructions used as the intervention in these selected studies were observed to contribute to the development of participants' gains associated with knowledge of the environment and nature, perception of nature, environmental effect, responsible environment behaviors, and conception and understanding of science.

Psyhoemotional Aspects for Creative Potential Development within the Framework of Schoolchildren Informational Culture Environment

Objective: In the process of creativity, the child develops intellectually and emotionally, determines its attitude towards life and its place in life, acquires the experience of collective interaction, improves its skills in working with various tools and materials. Background: At present times, which most researchers refer to as the era of “creative information culture”, the potential for creative development of students is of interest to both scientists and teachers. This paper considers creativity as a child’s sense-creating ability, as a student’s ability to form a model of the surrounding microcosm in the consciousness, which most often develops based on reading and processing information. This feature determines the uniqueness of the value-semantic attitude of children with inclusion to the world in general and to information, in particular. Method: The study used materials from textbooks and manuals. Learning programs for children with developmental standards were studied. The level of students' creative thinking was tested. Methods for its development are derived. Results: Various sources of information make up such a picture of the child’s world in which a certain value-semantic core is gradually formed. On extensive material through comparative analysis it is proved that the creative component is characterised by the manifestation of fantasy and imagination in all the diverse informational aspects; the need for new information; dedication to the process of cognition; the desire to master the basics of creative search activity; manifestation of independence in the selection of means and methods of cognition; desire for co-creation with adults. In the process of creativity, the child develops intellectually and emotionally, determines his attitude to life and his place in it, acquires the experience of collective interaction, and improves his skills in working with various tools and materials. Conclusion: According to the author, it is an artistic and creative activity that actualises the inner potential of the child, reveals his creative abilities, allows us to define the artistic and creative self-realisation of a pre-schooler as an organised process of targeted pedagogical.
