The bibliometric analysis provides insights for the further development and reconceptualization of the field, offering perspectives for identifying new research directions and methodological approaches in professional development, continuous professional learning, and teacher professional standards. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, Exploring National Brands in the Field of Education: The Case of Kazakhstan(Journal of Social Studies Education Research, 2023-06-17); ;Sara Koyanbekova; ;Бакытгул МолдагалиSamal SerikovaNational brands of the Kazakh people are insufficiently researched based on the special criteria for defining the concept of a brand from a scientific perspective. This article is relevant in this context. Interest in branding and its formation is a topic staying relevant. It is a driving force behind globalization and international competition. The brand is recognized as attracting tourists and investors, strengthening business, forming the country's image, and achieving international supremacy. The study of the national brand in the field of education is also critical. In particular, it is necessary to identify national brands through associative studies for economics and tourism students. The article analyzed the concepts recognized as national brands of the Kazakh people. The frequency index of the words recognized as Kazakh national brands was determined. According to the word stimulus, "Kazakhstan," "homeland," "peaceful, independent country," and "What is the Kazakhstani brand?" "National cuisine" and "art forms" were the most answered. The experience of identifying the association has shown that using national characteristics, art, national food, and national clothes in everyday life as a national brand is not accidental. The mental characteristics and culture of the Kazakh people in the formation of a brand were determined during the research. They were introduced in the domestic and world markets, stabilized in the minds of consumers, and explained in the education system, marketing, and tourism. This situation would impact their use in the field. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия

Faculty interviews underscore the need for professional development in gender/feminist pedagogy and emphasize the importance of the university administration’s support for gender studies programs. This study contributes to global discussions on gender studies education by shedding light on Kazakhstan’s unique challenges and opportunities. While limited by its focus on certain universities and several educators, the study provides a foundation for future research on the long-term impacts of gender studies education in Kazakhstan. Addressing these challenges could advance gender equality initiatives and foster broader societal transformation, emphasizing the critical role of gender studies courses in achieving an equitable future. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, Exploring Cognitive and Creative Strategies for Linguomethodical Reflection: A Qualitative Case Study of Pre-Service English Teachers(Journal of Social Studies Education Research, 2025-12-28); ; ; Gaziza SmanovaThis qualitative case study explores how pre-service English language teachers employ reflective practice through cognitive and creative strategies during their practicum. Conducted in Kazakhstan, the research involved six final-year undergraduate ELT students who participated in classroom observations, maintained reflective journals, and took part in semi-structured interviews. Data collection was guided by a researcher-developed checklist, and thematic analysis revealed how participants used cognitive strategies such as strategic planning and self-monitoring to enhance their instructional awareness. In addition, creative strategies including metaphors, storytelling, and visual reflection tools facilitated emotional insight, flexible thinking, and the development of teaching identity. The integration of these reflective approaches also strengthened linguomethodical awareness by enabling participants to connect language pedagogy with authentic classroom experiences. Overall, the study highlights the pedagogical value of combining cognitive and creative reflective methods in teacher education programs to promote adaptive, learner-centered, and context-responsive teaching practices among novice language educators. As a qualitative case study, it provides nuanced insights into the reflective dimensions of pre-service teacher development in the context of English language education in Kazakhstan. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, Examining the Effects of Differentiated Digital Instruction on English Language Teaching in Inclusive Classrooms(Journal of Social Studies Education Research, 2026-06-27); ; ; Gulbagira SaurukovaThis study aimed to examine the challenges teachers face in differentiated digital instruction in inclusive English language classrooms and to investigate its effects on students’ English achievement and attitudes. The study was designed as an exploratory mixed-method study. In the qualitative phase, data were collected from 27 English teachers through semi-structured interviews to explore their experiences, professional development needs, and support expectations. In the quantitative phase, a pre-test–post-test control group design was implemented with 52 inclusive 7th-grade students. The experimental group received differentiated digital instruction, while the control group followed traditional textbook-based instruction. Data were analyzed using content analysis and Mann–Whitney U tests. The findings indicate that teachers experience difficulties related to time constraints, lack of resources, and the management of student diversity. However, they demonstrate a strong interest in professional development and emphasize the need for practical and application-oriented support. Quantitative results show that differentiated digital instruction has a positive effect on students’ English achievement and attitudes compared to traditional instruction. These findings suggest that differentiated digital instruction can support inclusive teaching practices when combined with appropriate pedagogical design and institutional support. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия

Over the past 50 years, major research themes have included nosological aspects of special education, academic achievement and educational outcomes, age related and institutional aspects of special education, early childhood and preschool education, collaboration and partnership in education, conceptual foundations of inclusive pedagogy, and teacher professional competence in inclusive education. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, Innovative Technologies: Digitalisation of Education(Journal of Social Studies Education Research, 2022-12-28) ;Бакытгул Молдагали; ;Н. Ахтаева ;Assem SuleimenovaAkimbekova ShyrynThis study addresses the issue of integrating cutting-edge technologies into the educational process in order to enable the development of a new digital type of educational service in schools. To that end, it establishes a framework for integrating cutting-edge technology into digital learning in classrooms. The method involves diagnosing motivational induction, created by J. Nuttin. This method aims to identify the visibility of a personal perspective within a coming day, week, month, or year, enabling one to understand motivational aspirations, goals, desires, and dreams. The study includes structuring a model of cutting-edge technologies in learning. It promotes intellectual growth, fosters cultural and aesthetic qualities, boosts self-esteem, creates a model of cultural behavior, and aids in developing creative and respectful socialization skills in the classroom. It also helps increase interest and motivation in the educational process. Therefore, the study addresses the help of innovative technologies models related to aesthetic behavior in different places and aspects of changing personal image during the interactive dressing of clothing models. These models are superimposed on photos by fitting accessories and changing hairstyles against the background to fulfill personal goals. These goals depend on the aspirations of visiting different social objects and achieving a certain social status at the theoretical and virtual levels. This paradigm for digital education allows for the recognition of one's best attributes and the development of strong self-esteem by emphasizing the possibility of achieving one's highest ambitions. This movement creates a cultural and aesthetic model of individual perception and the evolution of cultural behavior in diverse public settings, which has practical implications for the entire educational system and the well-being of society. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия

Тип записи:Публикация, Exploring EFL Teachers’ Perceptions of Media Literacy in KazakhstanDeveloping media literacy has emerged as a key requirement in our rapidly evolving world. Particularly, the incorporation of media literacy into the secondary school curriculum in Kazakhstan is perceived to have a long-term impact on the employment prospects of graduates and aligns with the country's multi-vector policy. Consequently, teachers recognize the imperative to foster media literacy in their classrooms. The integration of media literacy into the existing school curriculum holds profound importance, challenging students' critical thinking skills, creativity, and functional literacy. This study aims to explore the development of media literacy within English as a Foreign Language (hereinafter, EFL) classrooms, concentrating on teachers' perceptions and challenges related to media literacy.
