Тип записи:Публикация, Critical Thinking and the Development of Students’ Critical Thinking Skills in the Teaching of Magical Realism(2025-01-01); ;A.I. Akhmetova ;Rysty A. MukazhanovaA.I. AibergenThis article explores the concept of critical thinking and highlights its importance in the education of philology students, particularly through the lens of teaching literary genres such as magical realism. In the context of rapid social, economic, and informational changes, the modern labor market demands not only specialized knowledge but also the ability to think critically, make informed decisions, and adapt to new situations. These metacognitive competencies are central to what is defined as critical thinking – an essential skill of the 21st century. Critical thinking is recognized as a core educational objective in Kazakhstan’s State Educational Standards, as well as in international frameworks such as the OECD and PISA. The growing need for professionals capable of independent reasoning and reflection underscores the relevance of this study. The article aims to analyze critical thinking as a fundamental academic and professional skill, and to identify effective pedagogical strategies for its development in philological education. The study systematizes theoretical approaches to critical thinking and examines established models, including those proposed by Bloom, Facione, and Kemp. Their strengths and limitations are assessed in relation to current educational goals. Methodologically, the research draws on psychological-pedagogical literature, normative documents, and scholarly works by authors such as Facione, Halpern, Ennis, and Iskhakov. Special attention is given to teaching strategies that foster critical thinking, including debates, the Socratic method, and project- and problem-based learning. The integration of digital technologies in learning environments is also examined for its potential to support critical engagement. In conclusion, the article presents a comprehensive approach to developing critical thinking in philology students, aimed at preparing competitive, adaptable, and independent professionals capable of responding effectively to the challenges of the contemporary information society. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, Strategies and methods of developing students' emotional intelligence in the process of learning a foreign language(2026-01-01); ; ; ; The impact of emotional intelligence (EI) is currently being explored across diverse scientific fields, including education, psychology, and even robotics. In the information age, key competencies such as self-awareness, motivation for achievement, effective communication, and the ability to learn a foreign language have become increasingly important. Successful language learners are distinguished not only by cognitive abilities but also by motivational traits, including a positive task orientation, perseverance, a desire for success, and a tolerance for ambiguity. Emotional intelligence is therefore considered one of the most significant components of the educational process, influencing personal development, learning outcomes, and the formation of intercultural communicative competence. The purpose of this research is to analyze scientific literature on EI, examine its impact on foreign language acquisition, and determine its role in developing students’ intercultural communicative competence. Students’ emotional intelligence was assessed using N. Hall’s methodology, which consists of five scales and thirty items. The article also describes elicitation techniques, cognitive and socio-affective strategies, and other methodological approaches used in the development of EI within foreign language teaching. The results demonstrate that emotional intelligence has a positive influence on students’ motivation and foreign language learning, supporting the integration of EI development into modern language education. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия

Тип записи:Публикация, Pedagogical conditions for the development of a child's speech at early ages(2025-01-01); ;Manara Adamova; O.N. TezekovaThis article explores the factors contributing to delayed speech development in preschool-aged children (children's health, the quality of pedagogical work, and the organization of the language environment). In light of these factors, the authors examine the pedagogical conditions necessary for fostering speech development in early childhood. A key point emphasized is the importance of creating favorable conditions for speech development, which plays a leading role in the child's overall growth. Drawing upon both theoretical and empirical research conducted by N. Chomsky, B.F. Skinner, C. Osgood, Yarrow, Anthony De Kasper, M.L. Lazarev, and others. The authors argue that the foundations for speech development should be laid as early as the prenatal period. These findings highlight the critical role of prenatal interactions in the early stages of language acquisition, with a particular focus on guiding expectant mothers on how to communicate with their unborn child. The article identifies three key pedagogical conditions for optimal speech development. The first condition shows the importance of creating preconditions for speech development from the prenatal stage, advocating for proactive maternal involvement. The second condition underscores the development of communication skills, motor activity, and interaction with objects, which serve as integral aspects of early childhood activities. Drawing on the work of both domestic and international researchers, the article outlines the specific speech development milestones for children from birth to age three, along with corresponding indicators. The third condition emphasizes the necessity for parents to actively cultivate a language-rich environment, beginning during the prenatal period, to support the child's speech development. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, Formation of financial literacy of primary school students based on digital content(2025-01-01); ; ; E.N. AitzhanovaThe article explores the formation of financial literacy among primary school students through digital content, emphasizing its importance in addressing global socio-economic challenges such as debt dependency and low economic awareness. The authors argue that early financial education forms the foundation of responsible economic culture and civic maturity. The study draws upon Kazakhstan’s national policies (“Concept for Improving Financial Literacy 2020–2025,” “Concept for Digital Transformation 2023–2029”) and international recommendations from the OECD. Using surveys, pedagogical analysis, and comparative methods, the research involved 172 primary school teachers in the Kostanay region. Results revealed a lack of digital learning materials and specific educational programs for financial literacy development. In response, the authors designed an elective university course titled “Formation of Financial Literacy of Primary School Students,” incorporating digital textbooks, teacher guides, and multimedia assignments. The article highlights three structural components of financial literacy: Cognitive – knowledge of financial principles; Activity-based – practical skills in budgeting, saving, and spending; Value-motivational – responsibility, independence, and ethical behavior. The research concludes that digital educational content — including interactive games, videos, AR storybooks, and online platforms — significantly enhances students’ engagement and financial competence. The study’s novelty lies in the creation of a theoretically grounded, methodologically coherent digital model for financial literacy formation in primary education, promoting the integration of digital pedagogy and financial education for sustainable learning outcomes. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия

Тип записи:Публикация, Experience of Integrating Art Technologies into the Development of University Students’ Leadership Competencies(2026-01-01) ;Anar A. Alimbekova; Aidyn KozhagulovThe article examines the experience of integrating art-based technologies into the development of leadership competence among university students. The main purpose of the study is to identify the theoretical and methodological foundations for fostering leadership potential—considered a key indicator of the professional competence of future teachers—and to outline practical approaches for its implementation. A theoretical and practical analysis of recent scholarly works revealed that art-based technologies contribute to the development of students’ leadership competence by enhancing their personal growth, stimulating creative potential, strengthening teamwork skills, and promoting social engagement. A one-group experimental model was employed as the methodological basis of the study. During the experiment, various methods incorporating art-based technologies were used to develop students’ leadership competence, including training sessions, role-playing activities, creative workshops, visual arts practices, and theatrical performances. These methods effectively contributed to strengthening students’ initiative, building shared responsibility, developing creative thinking, and improving organizational skills. The experiment results clearly demonstrated that the integration of art-based technologies into the educational process can effectively foster leadership competence among university students when implemented purposefully and systematically. The initial (pre-test) diagnostics indicated that most students displayed an average level of leadership skills. However, the post-test assessment following the intervention showed significant positive changes across all major components—initiative, organizational capacity, communication, decision-making, and emotional stability. Art-based technologies were found to increase students’ creative engagement, enhance teamwork, improve emotional self-regulation, and strengthen confidence in professional decision-making, demonstrating a positive dynamic in the development of leadership competence. The purpose of the study is to determine the changes in leadership competence among university students through the integration of art-based technologies into the educational process.
