Тип записи:Публикация, EFFECTIVE DISTANCE LEARNING TOOLS FOR TEACHING COMPUTER SCIENCE IN INCLUSIVE EDUCATION"Currently, the country is paying more and more attention to the problem of informatization of Education, which it considers one of the most important strategic problems of the development of civilization. Therefore, at the present stage of reform and modernization of the domestic education system, information technologies are introduced as an effective teaching tool. One of the paradigms of the development of modern education is inclusive education. Further research on the optimal application of ICT for instructing children with special educational needs remains essential for the efficient structuring of the educational process in inclusive education. The article examines the influence of ICT on inclusive education, addressing both conventional teaching methods for children with special educational needs, including those with autism spectrum disorders, and distance learning, along with the most effective software tools employed therein. The study shows an effective form, considering optimal software products for use in traditional and distance learning formats for children with special education needs in computer science, in which digital resources and information technologies are continuously used, with special attention to inclusivity. Тип записи:Публикация, The communicative and linguistic competence formation model among students of philology"The relevance of this article is due to the need to create a model for the formation of the communicative and linguistic competence of students-philologists through the development of psychological mechanisms. It is proposed to consider the formation of communicative and linguistic competence as a process aimed at acquiring skills, abilities and knowledge, developing qualities and abilities that help solve the communicative tasks of philology students. A detailed review of the model for the development of the communicative and linguistic competence of philology students is given. The model includes 5 blocks and 3 modules. The developed model is aimed at developing the linguistic persona of the philologist, ready for a competent dialogue with the interlocutor, in which there is awareness and acceptance, as well as the development of his communication and language skills in order to correctly state his position. Тип записи:Публикация, MEASURING PEDAGOGICAL-DIDACTICAL MEDIA LITERACY COMPETENCIES OF EFL TEACHERSMedia literacy competencies have become increasingly vital in the contemporary educational landscape due to the pervasive role of digital media in communication, information dissemination, and social interaction. This study measures the pedagogical and didactic competencies of 400 EFL (English as a Foreign Language) teachers in secondary schools regarding their ability to teach media literacy. Utilising a web-based questionnaire, the research assesses teachers’ proficiency in various instructional strategies, ranging from basic technical instruction to advanced critical and participatory teaching methods. The findings indicate a high level of competency among teachers in imparting technical skills related to media device usage, whereas competencies in fostering critical awareness and encouraging participation in public debate through media were less developed. The study underscores the necessity for a comprehensive media literacy curriculum that balances technical instruction with critical thinking and communication skills. Limitations of the study include potential biases inherent in self-reported data and the absence of contextual insights from naturalistic observations. Future research should incorporate longitudinal and observational methodologies to validate these findings and examine the integration of AI tools in media literacy education. This research provides a foundational understanding of current teaching practices and competencies, offering valuable insights for the enhancement of media literacy education strategies. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, Application of practice-oriented methods by it faculty in higher educationThis qualitative study was conducted among teachers specializing in information technology from various higher educational institutions in Kazakhstan. The study aims to investigate the frequency of application of certain practice-oriented teaching methods in IT education, how often they are mentioned in syllabuses, and how much they coincide with real-world applications. The study also sheds light on how higher education institutions support teachers in applying practice-oriented methods and what obstacles teachers experience in applying these teaching methods. As part of the study, a survey was conducted among 102 participants representing various higher education institutions in 11 regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan to obtain the most extensive and diverse sample. During the survey, Likert scales were used, which allowed us to get more detailed and nuanced answers from the respondents. In addition, multiple-choice questions were included, further expanding the opportunities for participants to express their opinions. The SPSS-29 software toolkit was selected and successfully applied during the data analysis. The important results found in this study make a scientific contribution by expanding our knowledge about the most frequently used methods of practice-oriented learning, the barriers to the use of these methods, and the frequency with which these methods are mentioned in the syllabus. This study also provides valuable information for IT education researchers who aim to improve the quality and effectiveness of training of IT specialists in higher education.
