Handicraft tourism in Kyrgyzstan: features and prospects

In the modern world, handicraft tourism is one of the developing types of tourism. The authors of this paper note that handicraft tourism is becoming more and more popular every year. Among other things the increasing number of tourists to the Kyrgyz Republic is associated with the manifestation of interest in the crafts and trades of the Kyrgyz. Handicraft tourism plays an important role as a tool for the preservation and development of the people’s cultural heritage, contributes to the solution of population employment issues, stimulates an increase in the educational and cultural level of the population, blurs the boundaries between people. The article reveals the developmental characteristics of handicraft skills of the Kyrgyz as a part of traditional culture. The properties of wool, the technology of making felt, the combination of color shades, the placement of patterns on the felt, as well as their change in modern conditions are described. It is concluded that felt carpets, which have absorbed aesthetic and practical functions, have always been distinguished by their environmental friendliness and naturalness. The authors are convinced that these valuable qualities of handicraft products provide an opportunity for the development of handicraft tourism, in the future, as one of the priority areas of the Kyrgyzstan economy. Over time, the craft culture of the republic can become a permanent and demanded product offered for consumption and use by tourists.

Spatiotemporal analysis and identifying the driving forces of land use change in the Abay district (Karagandy Region, Kazakhstan)

Land use and cover change (LUCC) affects the nature of human activities in a particular area. Therefore, the manifestation of the driving forces of these changes plays a decisive role. This paper analyses the LULC dynamics of the Abay district of Karagandy oblast from 2016 to 2023. The study’s main objective is to find the driving forces of land use based on the integrated assessment of spatio-temporal data (STD) and socio-economic, climatic and environmental indicators (SECEI). Classification of Sentinel- 2 images into LULC classes is carried out using the Random Forest (RF) algorithm on the Google Earth Engine (GEE) platform. The driving factors were assessed using principal component analysis (PCA) and linear regression (LR). The results obtained can be used to guide the development planning of the territory.

The aim of the work is to assess the impact of oil and gas industry production on the environment, taking into account emergency situations using mathematical modeling of the impact of emergency situations on atmospheric air. In order to solve this problem, the situation with fires in the oil and gas industry facility is considered. During the combustion of oil and gas, the contained carbon and hydrogen atoms are oxidized. In addition, there are some sulfur-, nitrogen-, oxygen-containing compounds in the oil. To determine the quantitative indicators of the formation and consumption of all substances involved in the process of obtaining energy from the combustion of oil and from the environment, the equations of material balance are used. In the case considered by us, the zone of active air pollution in case of an emergency fire of a gushing well does not exceed the sanitary protection zone of the 1st hazard class, despite the aeroclimatic conditions of the region. Education in the modern society is in need for new and more efficient pedagogical technologies. The development of individual qualities becomes the most important mission of education. However, graduates of educational institutions for the most part do not have sufficiently formed personal qualities. It is necessary to create due conditions for the development of individual personality traits, such as: adaptation to life situations, acquiring knowledge independently, the ability to apply it in practice; being able to think critically, to identify problems and select the necessary solution rationally and competently; working competently with information; sociability, being able to work in a team. The relevance of the issue under investigation in the conditions of digital education becomes an important tool for extensive access to adaptive learning at higher educational establishments. The trends in adaptive learning systems will make it possible to transform the educational system, helping students to learn more efficiently. In order to achieve this goal, the following tasks need to be addressed: to make analysis of scholarly pedagogical literature focused on the adaptive learning model; to select and analyse the material for the realisation of the adaptive learning model.
