Geographical education: problems of construction textbook of geography for middle school

Currently, the main factors determining the development of geographic education are humanization, ecologization, politicization, globalization and informatization of the content of education. Among theareas of geographical science, research on the problems of nature management and geoecology, the sustainable development of society and nature, problems of socio-demographic and political-geographicalcharacter are topical. In this connection, the purpose of the geography textbook in the educational process is that it should be a “strategic model” of the learning process, as it reflects the aims of education,the content of education, teaching methods and organizational forms. Simultaneously, the textbook is a “tactical model” of the learning process, as it reveals the sequence of presentation of the teaching material and sets the scenario for the learning process. The aim of the study is to substantiate the content of the geography textbook for secondary schools as an integrated information and activity model of the educational process that reflects the goals, principles, content and technology of the learning process. A textbook is a model in the sense that it not only reflects the structure and content of a certain didactic-methodical system, but also projects its implementation. The scientific and practical significance of the research is that the didactic principles of the construction of a school textbook are proposed, the informational core of which is its multifunctionality; a structural-content model of the school textbook was defined; developed science-based requirements for building a school textbook of geography and practical recommendations for future authors of textbooks. The methodological basis of the research was the current provisions on the personality-activity approach in teaching, the theory of the textbook and the theory of a holistic pedagogical process, the concepts and standards of school geographic education. In this connection, the structure and content of the geography textbook, oriented to the student’spersonal development activity, should assume the appropriate types of educational activity. In the textbook, the goals and objectives of education, the ways to organize the learning situations, the necessaryinformation for the formation of knowledge and competencies, the ways of solving problems, the types of generalization and systematization, consolidation and control, the organization of independent works,the reflection of educational activity and the expected results are proposed. The activity function of the textbook implements the creative educational activity of students and their evaluation position in relation to the material being studied. This approach guarantees the learner increased motivation and effectiveness of training.

The aim of the study was to develop an effective method of teaching computer graphics using information models. The authors conducted a pedagogical experiment, which consisted of two stages: ascertaining and teaching. The experiment involved 30 students and teachers in computer science. At the ascertaining stage, the state of students' practical knowledge and skills in computer graphics was analyzed. The authors had the following tasks at the first stage: to develop and describe the components, evaluation criteria and development levels of the motivation for studying computer graphics; design a diagnostic complex aimed at studying the development of the main components of the motivation for studying computer graphics; to identify the features of the development of the main components and levels of motivation for studying computer graphics in traditional learning environments. The teaching stage allowed to check the effectiveness of the task system developed by the authors, as well as the author’s methodology of using information modeling in computer graphics. In order to test the accuracy of experimental learning, the authors used the method of comparing the level of mastering the educational material of students in the control and experimental classes and the probabilistic method. For this purpose, control tests were conducted, the results of which were subjected to qualitative analysis. The results of the pedagogical experiment indicated the effectiveness of the proposed method of using computer information modeling in teaching computer graphics. Also, the authors developed a set of teaching and applied research tasks.

Now in the countries of the world an actual problem becomes preparation of the qualified, talented, competitive experts who continuously develop in various branches of science and education, from year to year technologies are updated, introduced into the industrial branch. In this regard, changes and additions to the legislation of the country’s education system are made from year to year. There fore, an important role in providing in-depth knowledge of future specialists in our country is played by many effective methods of training in the educational process. The article offers methods of formation of research activity of students. The study of biology shows the division of students into groups in the formation of business activities of students and the implementation of jointly proposed project research sessions “Determination of biologically active substances of vegetative organs of plants.” Defining, forming, controlling, analytical levels of lessons of project research are described, efficiency of formation of research competence of future specialists-biologists as a result of research activity on this level is characterized. The result of joint activities is a group final product, which is often in the form of a report. The result of this work-high cognitive and educational motivation of students in the development of research and search activities-provides an increase in the creative efforts of the teacher. The results of a survey of 40 students based on the outcome of the use of research methods of training are presented in the article. The result of using the method is a high cognitive and learning motivation of students in the development of research and search activities, which provided the development of creative skills of both students and teachers. The main aim of learning a foreign language is the development of students foreign language communicative competence which will allow them to integrate as much as possible into the international professional community. This is an important condition for the social adaptation of students to modern life. In the context of the transition from a knowledge-based approach to teaching to a competency-based approach, a change in value orientations, the teacher needs new methods and technologies that allow the teacher to identify the student’s knowledge, update it, add what is missing, structure the training material, and teach not only to remember and reproduce, but put them into practice. Methods that organize learning through desire, stimulate students' learning and natural curiosity, motivate interest in the independent acquisition of knowledge. The article deals with the role and importance of applying a new "competence-based approach" in the formation and developing students’ intercultural and communicative competence in teaching foreign language. The authors give explanations to such concepts as "competence" and "competency", as well as "competence approach".

This article deals with the training of future specialists in higher education institutions in accordance with the development of society and the requirements for the individual, the student. As it is known, due to the increased requirements for the level of training of future specialists in higher education institutions, the social demand for future specialists is quite high, both for themselves and for the individual. In addition, the formation of motivation for professional training of students in higher educational institutions was considered from the point of view of a stable orientation and motivation system. In the process of professional training, personal development is carried out. The formation of a professional personality begins from the moment of choosing a profession and continues throughout life. Many competitions have shown that the formation of professional training of students in teaching English in higher education institutions is not profitable without motives, needs and interests. Therefore, motives, needs and interests are considered as structural components of motivation.

Use of technology in education enables students to be motivated and eager to participate in the lesson and is also a more effective tool in increasing motivation, encouraging students to the lesson and understanding the sub-ject. The aim of this study is to determine the views of secondary school students on the use of technology in geography lessons. Qualitative re-search method was used in this study. Semi-structured interviews were car-ried out with 32 students who took geography lessons in Kazakhstan dur-ing the 2018-2019 academic year. The semi-structured interview form de-veloped within the scope of this research was used as a data collection tool. Results of the study showed that secondary school students found tech-nology effective and funny to use in geography lessons. Projections, com-puters, tablets and smart phones were specified by the students as useful technological tools for teaching geography. Results of the study were dis-cussed with relevant literature and important implications for further re-search and practices were presented.

Distant education studies carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic period are handled at different education levels and from different perspectives. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the problem of evaluation of primary school students in online education with the opinions of teachers. This research was carried out by using qualitative research methods. The study group of the research consisted of 25 classroom teachers working in various primary schools in Almaty, Kazakhstan, in the 2021-2022 academic year. A semi-structured interview form was used as a data collection tool in the research. As a result of the research, teachers stated that face-to-face education is more advantageous than distance education in the evaluation of students. The teachers categorized the problems they encountered in the field of measurement and evaluation during the distance education process as technical problems, communication problems, method problems, and student problems. They suggested technical support, communication support, choosing the appropriate method, and motivating the students as the solution to the problems. Developing the social activities of primary school students with hearing impairment using technologies

It is known that the use of technology to support individualization and motivation in education programs for hearing-impaired individuals has positive results. This research aims to reveal the views of teachers, students, and parents to develop the social activities of hearing-impaired students by supporting them with technology. This research was conducted with the phenomenology pattern, one of the qualitative research designs. Data were collected through semi-structured interview forms prepared separately for teachers, students, and parents. The participants of the study consisted of 20 primary school teachers, 20 hearing-impaired primary school students, and 20 parents of hearing-impaired students, who were working in various primary schools in Kazakhstan in the 2022-2023 academic year. As a result of the research, the majority of the participants believed the communication problems mostly faced by students with hearing impairment outweighed the psychological and school problems. The majority of the participants stated that the students were willing to participate in social activities if they were supported. Keywords: Hearing impaired students; social activity; technology
