Тип записи:Публикация, EFFECTIVE USE OF CRITICAL THINKING TECHNOLOGY IN TEACHING FICTION AT THE UNIVERSITY(2024-06-15)This article systematically examines the issue of the effective use of critical thinking in teaching students fiction. According to the technology of developing critical thinking, the work of researchers is first reviewed and the significance of this technology is determined on the basis of their opinions. From several methods, strategies of critical thinking that activate students in the classroom, those that are inherent in the nature of the work are selected. They are sorted into three stages of critical thinking development technology. An example is taken by Miguel de Cervantes’ novel Don Quixote, which studies the effectiveness of approaches to the complete assimilation of new material by students. The problem of forming a creative person who can critically analyze the fate of the main characters in the work with modern life was also mentioned. Тип записи:Публикация, THE IMPACT OF THE USE OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN TEACHING MATHEMATICS AT SCHOOL(2024-04-07); The dependence of students on gadgets and digital technologies poses a significant challenge to the education system, making it imperative to find effective solutions. Interactive games offer a promising approach to addressing this issue, as they not only engage students but also enhance problem-solving skills, facilitate homework checking, and reinforce theoretical concepts. Despite these benefits, interactive games are underutilized in mathematics lessons in Kazakhstan. Therefore, this study aims to experimentally assess the effectiveness of interactive games in enhancing students' cognitive activity during mathematics lessons.The experiment involved 22 10th-grade students from a comprehensive school, divided into a research group and a control group. The research methods included analysis, comparative analysis, synthesis, and generalization of scientific literature, as well as documentary analysis of normative legal acts and educational concepts related to computerization and informatization of education.The experimental intervention lasted one month and consisted of three interactive game-based lessons and one traditional lesson as an exam. The results indicated that students in the research group demonstrated higher levels of engagement and scored approximately 50% higher on the test compared to the control group. These findings suggest that interactive games can effectively enhance cognitive activity and could be implemented in both specialized and general education settings. However, the study's scope was limited to one topic and did not include repetition or other topics, highlighting the need for further research in this area. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, AN EXPERIMENTAL APPROACH TO TESTING THE TECHNIQUE OF CREATIVE WRITING IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING AT A UNIVERSITYThis article delves into the investigation of the effectiveness of integrating creative writing activities within the context of foreign language classrooms at the university level. The primary objective is to scrutinize the conditions and outcomes associated with the implementation of creative writing techniques in foreign language instruction and its impact on language acquisition processes. Drawing inspiration from the theories of Noam Chomsky on first language acquisition and Stephen Krashen on second language acquisition, this study adopts an experimental approach to explore the influence of creative writing on language learning.Employing methods such as contrastive analysis, descriptive analysis, and comparison, the study unveils the pivotal role of creative writing across different proficiency levels, ranging from intermediate to advanced fluency stages. It is observed that students, particularly during these stages, exhibit a heightened need for linguistic expression, transcending conventional academic written outputs.Furthermore, the article categorizes and reviews various types of activities involving creative writing, shedding light on their potential outcomes. The experimental aspect of this research involves the implementation of creative writing techniques in university foreign language classes, yielding promising results. Through this experimental endeavor, students demonstrated enhanced engagement, improved language proficiency, and heightened creativity in linguistic expression.The scientific novelty of this article lies in its unique exploration of the intersections between foreign language acquisition and creative writing, a topic relatively underexplored in local pedagogical inquiries. Theoretical significance is derived from the comprehensive analysis and systematization of a technique that is not yet widely integrated into foreign language teaching practices in Kazakhstan's higher education institutions. Тип записи:Публикация, Science students’ attitudes, learning, critical thinking and engagement in project-based learning(Taylor & Francis, 2024-12-27); ; Nuri BaltaIn Project-Based Learning (PjBL), students are at the center of the learning process, where they actively collaborate to solve real-world problems. The aim of this study’s research was to explore students’ opinions of PjBL lessons across several factors: attitude, learning, critical thinking and engagement. To gather data, a questionnaire was administered to 167 students from six universities in Kazakhstan. The results revealed that students’ attitudinal scores towards PjBL were lower than their learning, critical thinking and engagement scores. Additionally, female students reported more positive attitudes towards PjBL than their male counterparts. The study found no variation in attitudes, learning, critical thinking and engagement of PjBL among different academic disciplines. Moreover, there was a weak positive correlation between students’ math scores and their engagement in PjBL. GarnaevaRapid changes in the composition of the student audience and the need to intensify practical classes force us to reconsider the usual approaches to teaching physics. This study examines the use of digital technologies, including the creation of a virtual laboratory, to enhance students' research skills without sacrificing face-to-face learning. The focus is on how digital tools can replicate hands-on learning and facilitate a more engaging and effective learning process. A mixed-method study was conducted at the Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University and Kazan Federal University. It included experimental research and a cross-sectional survey to assess students' academic achievement using pre- and post-testing. The data collected were analyzed using ANOVA and other statistical methods. The introduction of virtual laboratories significantly improved student motivation and engagement in the learning process. This platform promoted the development of research skills, allowing students to actively study the material and perform simulation experiments. Teachers used accessible learning paths and tools to create individualized educational programs. At the same time, certain difficulties were identified related to technical aspects and ensuring proper user support. The use of digital technologies, in particular virtual laboratories, contributes to the growth of students' interest in physical culture and the improvement of their research skills. To achieve the best results, it is important to overcome technical difficulties and ensure proper training for both students and teachers. Important conditions for the successful implementation of digital tools in the educational process are the provision of comprehensive support and the organization of high-quality training. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
