The relevance of the presented paper is conditioned upon the fact that today, the subject of the development of moral values in children with visual impairment through musical motifs of folklore is a very understudied issue. However, based on the statistics of the World Health Organisation for 2021, about 2.2 billion people worldwide have visual impairments. The purpose of this paper is to study the features of the psychological and pedagogical characteristics of children with visual impairments, their moral development, and the development of ways of spiritual and moral education through folk music. To achieve this purpose, the following methods were used: analysis, synthesis, comparison, induction, statistical analysis, and deduction. In particular, the method of statistical analysis of sources of American, Kazakh, and Russian researchers within the boundaries of the subject was used. The practical basis was the statistical data of the WHO company for 2021. The result of the study was a complete analysis of the statistics of children with visual impairment in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The study’s main conclusion is that modern methods of teaching children with visual impairment are based on the musical accompaniment of educational activities since the musical form allows the development of moral values. Visually impaired students are characterised by insufficient development of the visual-imaginative level of mental activity, which determines the uniqueness of specific conceptual thinking due to visual perception disorders and limited visual experience. The alienation of a child with visual impairments from others entails secrecy and lack of communication, which can be expressed in a large volume of complexes in the future. The applied value of this paper lies in the development of recommendations for improving the system of pedagogical education of children with visual impairment through folklore-applied developmental classes.

This study explores the role of innovative technologies in supporting the autonomous development of information culture among adolescents with visual impairments—a population that frequently encounters limited access to digital literacy resources. The aim of the research was to evaluate the extent to which such technologies, particularly those incorporating artificial intelligence, contribute to the development of information literacy, critical thinking, and learner autonomy within this group. A total of 116 adolescents with varying degrees of visual impairment were divided into two groups: experimental and control. The experimental group engaged with adaptive AI-based educational tools, while the control group followed conventional instructional methods. ANOVA was employed to assess differences between groups, revealing that the experimental group significantly outperformed the control group: mean scores in information literacy were 78.3 versus 59.2, critical thinking skills reached 74.5 compared to 55, and learner autonomy was rated at 4.2 out of 5 versus 3.1. These findings underscore the potential of innovative technologies to foster a more inclusive and effective learning environment for adolescents with visual impairments.

The adaptation of preschool children with special educational needs to an inclusive educational environment represents a complex process of gradual adjustment of children with developmental disabilities to conditions of joint learning and upbringing with neurotypical peers. Adaptive mechanisms in children with special educational needs are characterised by increased complexity and require specialised pedagogical strategies that account for individual characteristics of cognitive, sensory, and socio-emotional development. The purpose of the research is to investigate the effectiveness of using play as a means of adapting preschool children with special educational needs to an inclusive educational environment. The research methodology is based on PRISMA principles with a search of publications in Web of Science, Scopus, and Google Scholar databases using key descriptors "kindergarten adaptation", "preschoolers with special educational needs", "inclusive environment", "play-based interventions" for the period 1975–2025. Strict inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied to ensure high quality of selected studies. From 2,880 initially identified records, 7 studies meeting the established relevance criteria were included in the final analysis. The results demonstrate consistent support for the effectiveness of play interventions for children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, severe speech impairments, and visual impairments. The greatest adaptive effect is achieved through socially-mediated play activities involving neurotypical peers and significant adults, promoting natural formation of inclusive relationships and mutual understanding within the children's group.
