    This article explores the impact of television on children's language development and analyzes linguistic shortcomings observed in television programs. To identify the main issues, the authors conducted a large-scale survey covering all regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and analyzed the results comprehensively. Based on the respondents' answers, the study identified the main challenges in language development and drew conclusions based on scientific approaches. The survey addressed several aspects: the influence of the language used in children's television programs on their speech development, the level of children's proficiency in the Kazakh language, the conformity of media language with linguistic norms, common language deviations in children's speech, and the amount of screen time. The findings demonstrate the need to enhance mechanisms aimed at preserving linguistic norms and fostering a generation fluent in the Kazakh language, especially in the context of growing influence from television and internet media. A total of 622 individuals participated in the survey. The sociolinguistic analysis of the collected data made it possible to track the dynamics of lexical deviations in children's language use. The study, which covered various demographic and geographical groups, revealed how social factors – particularly television dependence – affect lexical changes in children's speech. The research confirms the critical role of parents in laying the foundation of the native (Kazakh) language and highlights the significant influence of the surrounding environment, especially television, on children’s adherence to linguistic norms. The survey was conducted in Kazakh using open-ended questions, and data collection spanned three months. The article analyzes the impact of television and gadgets on children's language development and provides recommendations for implementing public initiatives in the cultural and linguistic direction.

    СКРИПТОНИМДЕРДІҢ ЛИНГВО-СЕМАНТИКАЛЫҚ ЕРЕКШЕЛІКТЕРІ (ҰЛТТЫҚ ОЙЫН АТАУЛАРЫ НЕГІЗІНДЕ)
    (Ablai Khan University, 2025-03-01) ;
    Мақалада ұлттық ойындарға қатысты сакралды тілдік бірліктер ұйытқы болған екінші мағыналы скриптонимдердің лингво-семантикалық ерекшеліктері талқыланады. Әлеуметтік маңызы бар феномен ретінде ойын мен ғұрыптық рәсімдердің өзара байланысы, ұқсастықтары мен айырмашылықтары анықталды. Осыған қатысты тілші, этнограф ғалымдардың пікірлеріне сүйене отырып, халықтың рухани және шығармашылық салаларының барлығын қамтитын ұлттық ойындарды ғұрыптық рәсімдермен бір деңгейде қарастырдық.Күні бүгінге дейін этнограф, мәдениеттанушы, тілші ғалымдардың тарапынан ұлттық ойындар мен ғұрыптық рәсімдер, олардың өзара байланысы жан-жақты зерттеліп келеді. Алайда ұлттық бірегейлігімізді, рухани-мәдени болмысымыз бен құндылықтарымыздың көзі ғұрыптық рәсімдер мен салт-дәстүрлеріміздің, меркелер мен ойындарымызды тасымалдаушы, ұлттық жадымызды жаңғыртушы мәдени мәтіндерге байланысты қалыптасып, екінші мағынаға ие болған тілдік қолданыстар («скриптонимдер») зерттеу нысанына алынбай келеді. Осыған орай, ұлттық ойындарды халықтың сан ғасырлық тәжірибесінің айғағы, негізгі құндылықтарымызды сақтаушы және тасымалдаушы қор, кодтық элементтері бар мәдени мәтін деп қарастырып, олардың тілімізде қалыптасқан сакралды-символдық кодты бірліктерге, соның ішінде акционалды, заттық, вербалды, темпоралдық кодты скриптонимдерге ұйытқы болатыны анықталды. Сонымен қатар зерттеу барысында ұлттық ойындардың негізінде қалыптасқан екінші мәнді скриптонимдердің өзінің «табиғи» прототипімен мағынасы ұқсас болатыны анықталды. Мақалада ұлттық ойындарға қатысты, екіншілік мағынаға ие болған тілдік қолданыстарға сипаттамалық, этимологиялық талдау, мәліметтерге концептуалды және лингвомәдени түсінік беру әдістері қолданылады. Ұсынылған теориялық тұжырымдар қазақтың салт-дстүрлері, дәстүрлі атаулары туралы жазылған еңбектерден, көркем шығармалар мен бұқаралық ақпарат құралдарынан алынған мысалдармен дәйектелді.

    Lexico-semantic features of cultural scriptonyms (based on local ritual ceremonies)
    (Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, 2025-03-28) ;
    The article discusses the lexical and semantic features of scriptonyms in the cultural code, which are formed on the basis local ritual ceremonies.The study aims to analyze the lexical and semantic specificity of secondary-meaning scriptonyms that originate from regional ritual ceremonies. Information related to regional procedures is transformed into linguo-cultural codes, aiding in the identification of the uniqueness of regional ethno-linguistic consciousness and the decryption of encoded information within these codes. This demonstrates the originality of our research. The scientific significance of the research lies in separately considering linguistic units (scriptonyms) formed on the basis of local rituals. To identify the diatopic (local) variants of scriptonyms, the article compared and studied the rituals and sacred names that originating from four regions of Kazakhstan: South, East, West, and Central Kazakhstan. It was found that the depiction of the universe in a regional language is influenced by the characteristics of the geographical area, the customs of the people, and the mutual cultural influences of ethnic groups. The scriptonyms, linguocultural, and conceptual concepts formed based on local ritual ceremonies analyzed in the research can serve to elucidate the etymology of native words in the Kazakh language and aid in the development of dialectological dictionaries. This demonstrates the value and practical significance of the study. Through the research: the relationships and distinctions between the concepts of tradition, customs, and ritual ceremonies were delineated; the term “code” was examined from a linguocultural perspective; ritual ceremonies were explored as a pivotal source in shaping cultural codes (scriptonyms) with substantial informational influence; and the characteristics of regional ethno-linguistic consciousness were elucidated through the analysis of scriptonyms derived from local ritual ceremonies.The article employs qualitative analysis, including content analysis, to examine and reveal the etymology of the linguistic units of the sacred code that have developed in relation to rituals. Keywords: scriptonyms, linguo-cultural codes, ritual ceremonies, rites, traditions and customs, sacred names, language codes, ethno-linguistic consciousness.

    APPEARANCE, NATURE AND FEATURES OF ACCESSORY JOINTS IN KAZAKH, KYRGYZ LANGUAGES
    (2025-05-25) ;
    This article presents a comprehensive comparative-typological analysis of case suffixes in the Kazakh and Kyrgyz languages. Despite their historical and genetic kinship and structural similarities, each language exhibits distinct morphological characteristics. The Kazakh language has seven grammatical cases, while the Kyrgyz language employs six. The key difference lies in the absence of the instrumental case as a morphological category in Kyrgyz, where its meaning is expressed analytically through the postposition menen. The study systematically outlines the phonetic-phonological conditions, semantic functions, and differences in synthetic versus analytic expression of case meanings. It also examines case forms in pronouns, substantivized adjectives, and words with plural and possessive suffixes. The Kazakh case system is characterized as more morphologically cohesive and synthetic, while the Kyrgyz language shows a tendency toward analyticism. This research addresses key issues in grammatical typology and the morphological evolution of Turkic languages, highlighting both their shared features and the divergent paths of internal development in each language system.

    SEMANTIC CHANGES IN RITUAL VOCABULARY IN THE CONTEXT OF "SACRIFICE": AN INTERCULTURAL ANALYSIS
    This method employs the linguistic evolution of the terminology of the ritual of sacrifice. The primary focus is on how words and expressions that were initially associated with the ritual of sacrifice have undergone semantic changes and acquired secondary meanings in contemporary discourse. By analyzing historical, linguistic, and cultural contexts, the article explores the mechanisms of metaphorization, metonymic expansion, and the integration of ritual lexicon into everyday cultural language. The article examines the lexical consequences arising from ritual utterances and their semantic transformation under the term "scriptonyms." The study is based on the analysis of four languages: Kazakh, Karakalpak, Turkish, and Azerbaijani. These languages share common historical and cultural ties, making them ideal for studying how sacrificial terminology has been preserved, transformed, and reinterpreted over time. Thus, the research highlights the role of ritual speech in maintaining and transmitting norms, values, and collective linguistic-cultural experience to future generations. The study employs qualitative analysis, including methods of content analysis and linguistic ethnography. These approaches allow for a comprehensive examination of the origins of scriptonyms and how ritual-based expressions evolve into more generalized cultural symbols. This research also emphasizes the role of language in preserving ethnocultural identity, which is increasingly at risk due to globalization. By focusing on the complex interrelations between rituals and linguistic development, this study contributes to a broader understanding of language change and its role in cultural continuity. The analyzed scriptonyms and their linguistic-cultural concepts may serve as tools that facilitate intercultural communication and the interpretation of original word meanings within the Turkic-speaking world.

    (2025-07-08)
    Zh.T. Zhumabayeva
    ;
    The article examines the synthesis of speech in the Kazakh language from the phonetic, phonological and prosodic points of view. Word synthesis is the process of converting a written text into an oral form. It is aimed not only at voicing the text, but also at providing a natural and understandable sound of speech. To create a realistic and legible synthesizer, the text is systematized in accordance with orthoepical norms, and phonemic changes, vowel reduction, and sound phenomena are described based on linguistic data. Phonetic and phonological patterns play an important role in improving speech synthesis technology. The article also examines the relevance and methods of speech synthesis, identifies their features and differences. In addition, an analysis of modern speech synthesis programs has been carried out, their advantages and disadvantages have been identified. The article analyzes articulatory, formative, parametric and neural models used for speech synthesis. To improve the quality of speech synthesis in the Kazakh language, it is shown that it is necessary to decipher abbreviated words and numbers, observe orthoepical norms, and correctly model intonation and rhythmic groups. The results of the study can serve as a scientific basis for creating a qualitative synthesis of words based on the phonetic and phonological patterns of the Kazakh language. The creation of high-quality word synthesis will make it possible to develop speech interfaces in the Kazakh language.
