Abdigapbarova ;Elmira A. Aitenova; Inkar KhassanovaIntroduction. The rapid advancement of digital technologies is transforming the educational environment, presenting new challenges for communication among participants in the educational process. University online communities are becoming central platforms for academic interaction, where the culture of network communication and digital etiquette play a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness of learning and the professional development of students. Aim. This research aims to analyse the impact of network communication culture and digital etiquette on the effectiveness of students’ learning and professional development. Methodology and research methods. Materials were sourced from the Web of Science database, covering the period from 1975 to 2025. Based on the inclusion criteria, five key studies were selected and analysed, authored by researchers affiliated with universities in the USA, Taiwan, Sweden, Spain, and New Zealand. Results. The findings demonstrate an evolution from fundamental principles of network communication culture and digital etiquette to complex multimodal communication utilising artificial intelligence tools. This research reveals that effective online communication signifi-cantly impacts educational outcomes through three key mechanisms: (1) structured frameworks for digital interaction, (2) balanced integration of traditional and innovative communication methods, and (3) the development of professional digital competencies. Scientific novelty. The research findings confirm the importance of network communication culture and digital etiquette as key factors influencing the quality of the educational process within online communities and shaping the trajectory of students’ professional development in the digital era. Practical significance. The research materials can be utilised in the development of regulatory documents governing digital interactions within academic online communities of higher education institutions.Цитирования (OpenAlex) 1 - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия

Тип записи:Публикация, Monitoring the Effectiveness of the Model for the Formation of Network Communication Culture and Digital Etiquette Teachers and Students in the Online Community of the University(Kazakh National Pedagogical University, 2025-10-01) ;Ulzharkyn M. Abdigapbarova ;Nadezhda ZhiyenbayevaThe article presents the results of a study aimed at monitoring the effectiveness of a model for developing networked communicative culture and digital etiquette among university faculty and students in a digital environment. The theoretical foundation of the work is based on the integration of socio-psychological, activity-based, and learner-centered approaches, as well as the cultural-historical paradigm of digital interaction. Methodology and Methods. The monitoring system included criteria for assessing the communicative, cognitive, and value-motivational components of networked communicative culture (NCC) and digital etiquette, as well as indicators of their practical implementation in educational and professional online communication. The research methodology combined psychological training scenarios, diagnostic tools, and case analysis, which made it possible to identify the levels of formation of NCC and digital etiquette. Results. The findings confirm the effectiveness of the proposed model in fostering responsible digital behavior, enhancing online collaboration skills, and strengthening academic communicative culture. The practice-oriented nature of the results allows the developed model to be applied in designing educational strategies and shaping the digital policy of universities. Scientific novelty. The introduction of a monitoring system makes it possible to diagnose the levels of development of NCC and digital etiquette among different participant groups (faculty and students), taking into account their professional and personal characteristics. Practical significance. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of applying its results in the design of educational strategies and university digital policies aimed at improving the quality of virtual academic interaction. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, Digital etiquette and belief-oriented technology use among Kazakhstani pre-service teachers: a cross-sectional survey(Frontiers Media, 2026-06-04) ;Nabat Issembayeva ;Динара Рамазанова ;Zulfiya Unerbayeva; Perizat B. SeiitkazyIntroduction Digital etiquette (netiquette) is a key component of digital citizenship, yet its behavioral profile and association with belief-oriented technology use remain underexamined in bilingual teacher-education contexts. This study examined Kazakhstani pre-service teachers' self-reported digital etiquette and belief-oriented technology use, evaluated the factorial structure and language equivalence of the adapted measures, and explored whether digital etiquette was associated with instructional-technology course completion and selected background variables. Methods A quantitative cross-sectional survey was conducted in Winter 2024–2025 with 300 students from two Kazakhstani universities. Data were collected using Kazakh and Russian versions of the questionnaire. Confirmatory factor analysis was used to evaluate the measurement structure, multi-group CFA was conducted to test language invariance, and correlational and regression-based analyses examined associations among digital etiquette, belief-oriented technology use, instructional-technology course completion, GPA, year of study, and gender. Results Confirmatory factor analysis supported a two-factor structure with acceptable fit (CFI = .95, RMSEA = .06), and multi-group CFA indicated scalar invariance across language versions. Participants reported high digital etiquette (M = 4.47, SD = 0.41) and belief-oriented technology use (M = 4.30, SD = 0.48). Digital etiquette was positively associated with belief-oriented technology use (Spearman's rs = .53, 95% CI [.45, .60], p < .001). After adjustment for GPA and year of study, instructional-technology course completion was not associated with higher digital etiquette (ΔR 2 = .003; ANCOVA p = .142), and gender differences were negligible. Discussion The findings provide bilingual measurement evidence from Kazakhstan and suggest that belief-oriented technology use is associated with, but not equivalent to, self-reported digital etiquette. Because the study was cross-sectional, relied on single-source self-report data, and showed an upper-range concentration in digital etiquette scores, the results should be interpreted as exploratory and correlational rather than causal.Цитирования (OpenAlex) 1
