The author describes the ways of the teacher professional development in the conditions of updated content of education. In his practice, the teacher through the use of innovative approaches in teaching creates the conditions for the formation of a competitive personality. The article includes examples of tasks for the development of functional literacy, the approaches used in the implementation of the updated educational program on the subject Mathematics, the approaches to evaluating the results of the achievements of students, criteria-based assessment system. The article also presents a meaningful difference in the updated educational program and the current one. Combining scientific theory and practice and creating conditions for use the equipment and reactants in laboratory classes as well as methods of their use at implementation microsatellite analysis advantages to develop research competence of biology experts. Mastering methods of conducting experimental work by means of modern equipment at the molecular level, application, analysis, synthesizing, offering new products by performing researches for the purpose of national economy modernization, also factors of increasing functional literacy undoubtedly are thought to be necessary prerequisites for biology students development. Therefore, in order to implement the above mentioned factors is very important to master microsatellite analysis. Тип записи:Публикация, MATHEMATICAL MODELING AS A TOOL FOR INCREASING THE MATHEMATICAL LITERACY OF STUDENTS(2021-04-09); ; Today, the problem of developing the functional literacy of schoolchildren is relevant at the community level. In this regard, new requirements are imposed on the level of professional training of future mathematics teachers. The authors consider the issue of preparing future mathematics teachers to develop students' mathematical literacy. The works of scientists on the development of functional literacy of schoolchildren were studied and the concepts of "model", "mathematical modeling" were explained. In addition, the specifics of the method of mathematical modeling in the process of teaching mathematics in secondary school have been clarified, and the pedagogical conditions for using the modeling method have been determined. Тип записи:Публикация, Диагностика и реализация профессиональных потребностей сельских учителей русского языка и литературы как один из основных факторов повышения качества образованияThe professional development of a teacher improves the quality of education, contributes to the improvement of the teacher’s skills and motivates him for further continuous professional growth. The purpose of the article is to diagnose the professional needs of Kazakhstani rural teachers of Russian language and literature and to identify factors contributing to their professional development. To determine the assessment of the activities, working conditions and professional development of Kazakhstani teachers in comparison with other countries, the results of the international study of the teaching staff on teaching and learning TALIS-2018 were analyzed. The method of secondary data analysis based on a large-scale study was used, as a result of which it has high validity. In addition, a survey was conducted to determine the needs of rural teachers and factors that negatively or favorably affect their professional development. More than 70 rural teachers of Russian language and literature of Almaty region took part in the online survey. The article analyzes how the data of the international TALIS-2018 study were used to reform Kazakhstan’s educational policy. In addition, the results of the online survey allowed the authors to conclude that rural teachers of Russian language and literature prefer to master the topics of digital technologies in education (54.5%), functional literacy and critical thinking (54.3%), assessment methods (47.1%). The professional needs of rural teachers are associated with the need to improve teaching methods (41.2%), consult with the most experienced colleagues (32.5%) and develop skills to work with children with special educational needs. Тип записи:Публикация, Exploring EFL Teachers’ Perceptions of Media Literacy in KazakhstanDeveloping media literacy has emerged as a key requirement in our rapidly evolving world. Particularly, the incorporation of media literacy into the secondary school curriculum in Kazakhstan is perceived to have a long-term impact on the employment prospects of graduates and aligns with the country's multi-vector policy. Consequently, teachers recognize the imperative to foster media literacy in their classrooms. The integration of media literacy into the existing school curriculum holds profound importance, challenging students' critical thinking skills, creativity, and functional literacy. This study aims to explore the development of media literacy within English as a Foreign Language (hereinafter, EFL) classrooms, concentrating on teachers' perceptions and challenges related to media literacy. Utilizing a qualitative approach, the research entails conducting semi-structured interviews with EFL teachers in Kazakhstan. This study is based on in-depth, semi-structured interviews with fifteen EFL teachers in schools in Kazakhstan. The findings reveal that, despite certain barriers, EFL teachers acknowledge the necessity of incorporating media literacy components into their classrooms. The tension associated with teaching media literacy manifests in decisions related to selecting appropriate resources, adopting effective approaches, and navigating the attitudes of other education stakeholders. The research outcomes contribute to filling the current gap in studies within this domain, offering practical insights for teachers working in similar environments.
