    Digital Competence of a Teacher in a Pandemic

    The article considers changes in the education system during the COVID-19 coronavirus infection pandemic. The term “digital competence of a teacher” is disclosed and a comparative analysis of the attitude to distance learning of teachers and students using a sociological survey is made. The teachers identified the lack of direct contact with the student as the main disadvantage of distance learning, and students feel discomfort due to the inability to receive knowledge directly from the teacher. A number of problems of distance learning have been identified and a course program has been created to improve the digital competence of a teacher. The course content covers the basics of pedagogical design, rubrics of educational results, platforms for collaboration, tools for creating a video lecture, platforms for monitoring and collecting information, digital footprint and analysis, online resources of virtual laboratory work. As a result of learning, 680 university teachers and teachers of secondary schools in Kazakhstan designed their own course. At the end of the first semester, the approbation of these courses was considered. The authors performed a two-step data analysis procedure using deductive and inductive analysis methods. According to the course indicators, many of the identified problems have significantly decreased.

    Development of entrepreneurial competence of future primary school teachers

    The aim of this study is to evaluate the opinions of prospective teachers regarding the development of entrepreneurial competencies of future primary school teachers. This research was designed in accordance with the qualitative research method. The research was conducted with 40 pre-service teachers who received primary school teacher training at various universities in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The data of the research were collected by interview technique in order to get the opinions of the teacher candidates participating in the research. As a result of the research, it has been seen that pre-service teachers associate their entrepreneurial skills with being innovative, evaluating opportunities, taking risks, self-confidence and emotional intelligence. In this direction, the majority of pre-service teachers stated that they partially have entrepreneurial skills. In addition, pre-service teachers stated that universities, schools, teachers and teacher candidates have duties to develop entrepreneurship skills. In line with the research results, it is necessary to intensify entrepreneurship courses for primary school teacher candidates in universities, and to organise seminars for personal development and development of entrepreneurship skills.     Development of the spiritual and creative potential of future teachers in the school-university system

    The purpose of this research is to seek the opinions of teacher candidates in order to develop the spiritual and creative potential of future teachers in the ‘school-university’ system. This research was carried out using the qualitative research method. The participant group of the research consisted of 40 pre-service teachers who were studying at the faculty of education in the 2021–2022 academic year and agreed to participate in the study voluntarily. Research data were collected through the semi-structured interview form developed by the researchers. As a result of the research, it has been determined that the spiritual well-being and creative potential of the teacher candidates are at a moderate level. In addition, pre-service teachers suggested that courses should be given in universities in order to develop their spiritual and creative potentials. Some of the teachers offered suggestions to make practices to develop their spiritual and creative potential in the school-university environment and to benefit from experienced teachers in this system. In addition, teacher candidates stated giving importance to personal development and participating in personal development seminars as suggestions for the development of their spiritual and creative potentials. In line with the results of the research, the necessity of carrying out applications for the development of the spiritual well-being and creative potential of teacher candidates in the school-university system has arisen.     Investigation of Mobile Learning Readiness of Students According to Tablet Usage

    In this study, it was aimed to determine the mobile learning readiness of university students and to examine the change according to tablet usage. The research was carried out in the fall semester of 2021–2022. The study, which was carried out with the participation of 360 university students, was carried out using the survey model. In the research, a 4-week distance education mobile learning training was given to university students. In the study, ‘Mobile Learning Readiness Scale’ was used to collect data. The scale used in the research was delivered and collected by university students online. The analysis of the data was made by using the SPSS programme, frequency analysis and t-test. The results were added to the research in the form of tables. As a result of the research, it was determined that university students have advanced mobile learning readiness.     В статье представлен дискурсивный анализ теорий сетевойкоммуникативной культуры и цифрового этикета. Авторами рассмотренытеория социальной идентичности, теория медиа-насыщенности, теорияобработки социальной информации, теория отфильтрованных сигналов,теория компьютерно-опосредованной коммуникации, теория сетевого этикетаи концепция цифрового гражданства. Теория социальной идентичности(H. Tajfel, L.A. Festinger) исследует формирование личности черезпринадлежность к группам и сообществам в онлайн-среде. Теория медиа-насыщенности (R. Daft and R. Lengel) рассматривает влияние разнообразныхкоммуникационных платформ на восприятие и передачу информации. Теорияобработки социальной информации (J. Walther) изучает способы обработкиинформации в онлайн-коммуникации, обращая внимание на развитиеотношений через цифровые каналы. Теория отфильтрованных сигналов(B.A. Shenoi) указывает на ограничения цифровой коммуникации, особеннов передаче невербальных сигналов, что может привести к непониманию иискажению информации. Теория компьютерно-опосредованной коммуникации(J.B. Walther, J.K. Burgoon) анализирует влияние компьютерных технологийна передачу, восприятие и взаимодействие в онлайн-среде. Теория сетевогоиндивидуализма (B. Wellman) рассматривает эволюцию социальных связей иобщения в эпоху цифровых технологий, подчеркивая возможность индивидовподдерживать разнообразные связи, создавать собственные сети контактов,что меняет структуру социальных связей и придаёт индивидуальность сетевымвзаимодействиям. Теория сетевого этикета (Flynn, Nancy; Kahn, Randolph, Shea)определяет социальные нормы и правила поведения в онлайн-среде. Концепцияцифрового гражданства (K. Mossberger), охватывает принципы ответственного,этичного и безопасного поведения в онлайн-среде. Анализ указанных теорийпомогает выявить, как влияют цифровые инструменты на способы восприятияи передачи информации, формирование отношений и взаимодействие в онлайн-среде. Концепции создают обширную основу для понимания воздействияцифровых технологий на социальные взаимодействия, онлайн-поведение иформирование культуры в эпоху цифровизации. Они играют важную роль вобеспечении эффективного, безопасного и этичного общения в цифровомпространстве, акцентируя важность осмысленного использования технологийдля продвижения благополучия и развития общества.

    This study examines the impact of digital etiquette training on the development of a digital communication culture among future teachers by providing new perspectives and access to scientific knowledge in the field of digital etiquette. A mixed-methods approach was used both before and after the test. The study included 115 respondents. The preliminary testing between the groups showed that both groups were at the same level in terms of communicative culture indicators. Additionally, participants had no prior knowledge of digital etiquette. An authors' program was created specifically for the course and implemented to help students become more skilled with technology. A set of measures was carried out to develop a digital communicative culture through the means of netiquette and the introduction of technology for individualization and personalization of learning. This study found the impact of digital etiquette on the development of a digital communication culture in future teachers by providing new perspectives and access to scientific knowledge in the field of digital etiquette, as well as the practical application of this knowledge to support cultural digital interaction.

    The role of network culture and digital etiquette in student learning: a systematic review

    Introduction. The rapid advancement of digital technologies is transforming the educational environment, presenting new challenges for communication among participants in the educational process. University online communities are becoming central platforms for academic interaction, where the culture of network communication and digital etiquette play a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness of learning and the professional development of students. Aim. This research aims to analyse the impact of network communication culture and digital etiquette on the effectiveness of students’ learning and professional development. Methodology and research methods. Materials were sourced from the Web of Science database, covering the period from 1975 to 2025. Based on the inclusion criteria, five key studies were selected and analysed, authored by researchers affiliated with universities in the USA, Taiwan, Sweden, Spain, and New Zealand. Results. The findings demonstrate an evolution from fundamental principles of network communication culture and digital etiquette to complex multimodal communication utilising artificial intelligence tools. This research reveals that effective online communication signifi-cantly impacts educational outcomes through three key mechanisms: (1) structured frameworks for digital interaction, (2) balanced integration of traditional and innovative communication methods, and (3) the development of professional digital competencies. Scientific novelty. The research findings confirm the importance of network communication culture and digital etiquette as key factors influencing the quality of the educational process within online communities and shaping the trajectory of students’ professional development in the digital era. Practical significance. The research materials can be utilised in the development of regulatory documents governing digital interactions within academic online communities of higher education institutions.

    Monitoring the Effectiveness of the Model for the Formation of Network Communication Culture and Digital Etiquette Teachers and Students in the Online Community of the University

    The article presents the results of a study aimed at monitoring the effectiveness of a model for developing networked communicative culture and digital etiquette among university faculty and students in a digital environment. The theoretical foundation of the work is based on the integration of socio-psychological, activity-based, and learner-centered approaches, as well as the cultural-historical paradigm of digital interaction. Methodology and Methods. The monitoring system included criteria for assessing the communicative, cognitive, and value-motivational components of networked communicative culture (NCC) and digital etiquette, as well as indicators of their practical implementation in educational and professional online communication. The research methodology combined psychological training scenarios, diagnostic tools, and case analysis, which made it possible to identify the levels of formation of NCC and digital etiquette. Results. The findings confirm the effectiveness of the proposed model in fostering responsible digital behavior, enhancing online collaboration skills, and strengthening academic communicative culture. The practice-oriented nature of the results allows the developed model to be applied in designing educational strategies and shaping the digital policy of universities. Scientific novelty.The introduction of a monitoring system makes it possible to diagnose the levels of development of NCC and digital etiquette among different participant groups (faculty and students), taking into account their professional and personal characteristics. Practical significance. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of applying its results in the design of educational strategies and university digital policies aimed at improving the quality of virtual academic interaction.
