Тип записи:Публикация, Absorption of chromium by mono- and mixed cultures of microalgae(Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, 2018-01-01) ;Gulzira Izmukhanovna Yernazarova ;Svetlana Kazbekovna Turasheva; ;B. OrazovaAliya BazargaliyevaIn the article the sorption ability of microalgae cultures to chromium are discussed. The objects of the study were microalgae from the collection of the Department of Biotechnology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, related to cyanoprokaryotes (Cyanoprocaryota/ Cyanobacteria): Anabaena flosaquae, Anabaena arnoldii, Nostoc linckia, Calothrix pariethina as well as their two-species mixtures A. flos-aquae х C. pariethina, N. linckia х C. pariethina, A. flos- aquae х N. Linckia, A. flos-aquae х A. arnoldii and Scenedesmus quadricauda. Also two green (Scenedesmus quadricauda and Chlorhormidium sp.) and one diatomaceous (Nitzshia sp.) algae were studied. The duration of cultivation was 20 days. Potassium bichromate was added to the nutrient medium at concentrations 0.01-0.2 mg/ml calculated per unit of chromium. The concentration of chromium in the filtrates of the studied cultures in some cases significantly decreased by the end of the cultivation period, which indicates the biosorption of this element by the microalgae cells. The investigated strains of microalgae absorb chromium from the medium in varying degrees. The most active biosorbents among the explored cultures were A. flos-aquae, N. linckia and C. рariethina. A microalgae A. arnoldii extracts chromium from the medium in smaller quantities. The listed strains refer to cyanoprokaryotes (cyanobacteria), from other cultures, the Scenedesmus quadricauda absorbs chromium quite actively. The highest intensity of chromium biosorption is characteristic of Nostoc (N. linckia), which extracts from the medium 60.8-74.6% chromium at initial concentrations 0.05-0.1 mg/ ml respectively. The most active biosorbents of chromium were four species of Cyanobacteria. In this regard, these strains have been selected by us for future study of the processes of sorption and metabolic activity in mono- and mixed cultures of microalgae.Цитирования (OpenAlex) 2Цитирования (OpenCitations) 2 - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия

Тип записи:Публикация, Extraction, Purification and Characterisation of four new alkaloids from the water plant Pistia stratiotes: POM Analyses and Identification of Potential Pharmacophore Sites(2023-07-24) ;Gulzira Izmukhanovna Yernazarova; ;Svetlana Kazbekovna Turasheva ;Faisal A. AlmalkiTaïbi Ben HaddaCurrently, during the period of intensive development of scientific production, it is important to obtain phytopreparations from sources of raw materials of plant origin. The biological diversity of plants is amazing. The study of the composition of aquatic plants rich in active substances of biotechnological significance is currently an urgent problem. Biologically active substances are involved in various regenerative reactions and metabolic processes in the organism, being part of enzymes. Alkaloids are important nitrogenous compounds found in the plant and are widely used in medicine. The aim of the present study was to identify alkaloid compounds from the composition of the aquatic plant Pistia stratiotes, grown in a model experiment in laboratory conditions by highly effective liquid chromatography and determine the molecular structure by nuclear magnetic resonance. In addition, based on the molecular structure of alkaloid compounds found in the aquatic plant Pistia stratiotes, a study of the properties of pharmaceutical activity was conducted on the pharmaceutical site POM (Petra/Osiris/Molinspiration). According to the results of the study, 4 types of identified alkaloids were identified by the IR, 1H, 13C-NMR method. They: 1-Aza-10-methoxy-4-methyl-2-oxo-1,2-dihydroanthracene-9-O-b-D-glucopyranoside, 4,6-dimethoxy-8-prenyloxyfuroquinoline, 4,7-dimethoxy-6 - (3’ - methyl-3’ - methoxy-2 ' - oxy) butyl-oxifuroquinoline , 4,7-dimethoxy-6 - (3’ - methyl-2’ - oxy-3 ' - chlorine)butyloxifuroquinoline. As a result of the analysis of the identified POM alkaloids (Petra/Osiris/Molinspiration), predictions of antitumor activity were made. The presence of a (NHd+--- Od-) moiety indicates a potential antitumor pharmacophore site. The challenge is to verify our hypothesis experimentally and to confront virtual POM data and real anticancer screening.Цитирования (OpenAlex) 12Цитирования (OpenCitations) 8 - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия

Тип записи:Публикация, THE EFFECT OF PSEUDOMONAS BACTERIA ON THE ANTIOXIDANT SYSTEM OF PLANTS UNDER CONDITIONS OF HEAVY METAL CONTAMINATION(2026-01-01); ;Gulzira Izmukhanovna Yernazarova ;Sana Kabdrakhmanova ;Khaiyrnisa AisakulovaThis study investigated changes in the antioxidant system of Phaseolus vulgaris plants grown in a medium contaminated with heavy metals (Cu, Cd, Zn) and Pseudomonas spp., with the aim of evaluating the bioremediation effect of the bacterial consortium. The results showed that in the control group, antioxidant activity was 25% in the roots, 24% in the leaves, and 27% in the stems. Upon exposure to copper (Cu 0.01), these values increased significantly to 59%, 56%, and 57%, respectively, indicating activation of the antioxidant system in response to severe oxidative stress. When the copper concentration was reduced (Cu 0.001), antioxidant activity decreased to 14% in roots, 11% in leaves, and 18% in stems. In the case of cadmium (Cd 0.01), the values were 19%, 15%, and 18%, whereas in the Cd 0.001 treatment, an increase to 25% in leaves and 31% in stems was observed. Antioxidant activity decreased under zinc (Zn 0.01) exposure and amounted to 11% in roots, 4% in leaves, and 14% in stems, while the lowest values were recorded at Zn 0.001 (3%; 1.73%; 8%). The use of the Pseudomonas spp. consortium increased plant resistance to heavy metals and contributed to the stabilization of the antioxidant system. Overall, the results demonstrate that these bacteria can be used as an effective bioremediation agent by biosorbing heavy metal ions and reducing oxidative stress in plants. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия

Plants (Family Polygonaceae) using Fourier infrared Spectroscopy to Analyze the Chemical Composition and Identify Active Compounds(2026-03-16) ;Madina Amangeldinova ;Nataliya O. Kudrina ;Gulzira Izmukhanovna Yernazarova ;Svetlana Kazbekovna TurashevaMetin YildirimThe increasing demand for novel antimicrobial agents has led to interest in plant-derived bioactive substances (BAS). This study focuses on the establishment of callus cultures from Rheum cordatum Losinsk. and Rheum tataricum L. under in vitro conditions and the evaluation of the antimicrobial properties of BAS synthesized in these callus cells. Callus cultures were induced from leaf and stem explants using Murashige-Skoog nutrient medium supplemented with 2,4-D (0.1mg/L) and BAP (0.01mg/L). Callus formation frequency was recorded for both species, and green plant regeneration from R. cordatum calluses was observed. Antimicrobial activity was assessed by testing callus-derived extracts against various microorganisms, including gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus 6538 and Salmonella abony NTCC 6017, gram-negative Escherichia coli NTCC 8439 and Klebsiella pneumonia 700603, and the yeast-like fungus Candida albicans R50. Callus induction was successfully achieved in both species, with formation frequencies of 60±6% for R. cordatum and 72±8% for R. tataricum. Extracts from R. tataricum callus cultures exhibited antimicrobial activity against S. aureus, E. coli, and K. pneumoniae. R. cordatum callus extracts showed moderate effects on these microorganisms. The results highlight the significant potential of callus-derived rhubarb extracts in addressing bacterial and fungal pathogens. The study demonstrates the efficacy of Murashige-Skoog medium supplemented with 2,4-D and BAP in promoting callus induction and growth in rhubarb species. Extracts from rhubarb callus tissues represent significant potential in developing new antimicrobial agents effective against a wide range of pathogens, including bacterial and fungal infections. Future studies will focus on the regeneration of plants from callus cultures and the detailed pharmacological profiling of their BAS. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
