Many Kazakhstani universities were engaged in distance learning as part of the implementation of the second higher education. Obtaining a second higher education in Kazakhstan refers to studying in higher education programs after completing studies at the first higher education in the form of a bachelor's or specialist's degree. Based on this study recommendations were developed to improve the educational, methodological, social and educational work of the university, including the use of library resources in the conditions of distance learning. The study was conducted during June - July 2020. The study involved 677 students from all faculties of the university, including bachelor and master degree students, doctoral students. The study was prompted by: the need to assess the quality and level of organization of distance learning at the university; the need to identify problems (issues) of educational and social adaptation of the first-year students; the need to establish the degree of satisfaction of students with the distance learning process. The survey also allows to determine: the most effective forms of distance learning; study the performance indicators of the services provided by the university; to study the indicators of adaptation of students, master degree and doctoral students (satisfaction with the results; deficit experienced by students); evaluate the effectiveness of the work of deans, teachers and advisors from among teachers from the point of view of students. This research identifies the problems in the transition from traditional to distance learning and difficulties that arise when students receive high-quality professional education. Recommendations are developed to optimize the work of university structures aimed at improving the efficiency of the institutes’ work and psychological services. The results of quantitative empirical study show that the pandemic has caused an increase in perceived anxiety and depression among women teachers. Тип записи:Публикация, Structural and functional characteristics of stress resistance in sports amid coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic(2022-08-26) ;Altynay Kozhan ;Gulmira Saudabayeva ;Р. М. Айтжанова; The aim of this study was to carry out a comparative analysis of the effectiveness of coping strategies among female track-and-field students of the first-third study years with different aggressiveness levels on the back of the coronavirus disease 2019-provoked self-isolation. The total sample of respondents comprised 360 female students majoring in Physical Education and Sports. All of them were enrolled in an online survey using the Anxiety, Frustration, Aggressiveness, and Rigidity methodology and Coping Orientation to Problems Experienced inventory. The study revealed that first-year students with high levels of aggressiveness focused on emotions and their expression under stress more often than first-years with moderate aggressiveness levels. Similarly, an increased concentration on negative emotions display was inherent to respondents of the second study year. The transition from the first to the third study year was marked with consolidation and strengthening of negative coping strategies used by female track-and-field athletes. This represents one of the central reasons for the deterioration of their psycho-emotional state during the quarantine. The most widely applied stress response tactics of female students of all 3 study years were associated with positive thinking, active coping, and planning (P≤ 0.05 with other coping strategies). Resort to psychoactive substances was noted less frequently (P≤ 0.01 with other strategies). As for the emotional component, increased attention to emotions’ expression and seeking of instrumental and emotional support were also chosen relatively often. The problematic issue needs further investigation in order to analyze whether stressful conditions persist or have decreased. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия

By searching the relevant literature in all available databases, the selection criteria, statistical data on suicides are considered. The data from the available databases of official statistics of suicide attempts and facts are given. The problem of reliability of statistical data is posed, which can lead to premature conclusions about a decrease in data on suicide mortality (and vice versa), namely, incorrect classification of causes of death, and a significant increase in unintentional deaths from 2019 to 2021 against the background of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since there are few studies, and about half of them ended up underestimating suicide data, it is concluded that the reliability of suicide statistics is questionable and requires additional research. The question is raised about the development of a national standard - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, Mental characteristics of personality in a state of ambiguity:a historical review(2023-01-01); ; ;A. A. KassymzhanovaThe article deals with the mental features of a person experiencing ambiguity caused by COVID-19, an impact of a unique phenomenon which has led to isolation and global stress at the global level – anxiety, stress, depression which has caused anxiety due to ambiguity, which in turn discourages a person and prevent anyone from comfortable mental development.
