Тип записи:Публикация, Integrating augmented reality technology to enhance student's learning in physical education(2022-09-23) ;Bakһytzһan Omarov; ;Nurlan Omarov ;Balnur KendzhaevaAlmas AnarbayevIn practically every professional sport, the usage of linked computerized performances and monitoring components, data analysis, augmented and virtual reality are standard things. Augmented reality in sporting is being shaped by the interaction of devices and information and communication technology advances. Nevertheless, without analysis, the data collected are useless. In the sporting industry, scientists and researchers are becoming more and more essential to human operations. Even if a variety of data, technology, new measurements, and analytics are readily available on our life, most participants in professional sports do not yet show a strong interest in sports analysis. In this study, we explore augmented reality tools in sport activities and consider augmented reality tools to improve health conditions of students at the universities. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия

Тип записи:Публикация, Form of physical training in educational institutions (club system)The development of modern sports is an important form of not only directly sporting, but also social interaction. Physical education is also especially relevant, given the general trend of deteriorating health of young people. This determines the issues of organization and forms of physical education leisure time for the analysis. Additional relevance is predetermined by the lack of research on the club system of physical education. Moreover, such physical culture organization is new in Kazakhstan. Finding out the effectiveness of club activities in Kazakhstan is an important topic for research. The research aims to analyze the features and prospects of physical education in educational institutions based on the use of the club system. The general scientific theoretical methods (analysis, synthesis, induction, and deduction) and special pedagogical methods (comparative, axiological, systemic, structural, and functional) were used in the research. The results show that the club system is quite practical and in demand among students and pupils in Kazakhstan, which is confirmed by sociological surveys. A similar practice is employed in the Europe and USA. However, it has been actively employed there for more than one decade. It has also been established that traditional physical education classes have negative assessments among pupils and students. Thus, the club system is a perspective way of organizing the physical education of youth. However, within the framework of Kazakhstan, this form of organization of sports and recreational activities is experiencing difficulties associated with the lack of funding for the industry, the lack of modern coaches, etc. The practical value of the article consists of the development of recommendations to improve the state of physical education in educational institutions based on the use of the club system. Keywords: Kazakhstan; sports education; education; club sports; European practices, mass sports development.Цитирования (OpenAlex) 2 - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, Improvement of physical education of students at the university: bibliometric analysis of the literature(2025-01-01) ;Nurzhan Temirbay; ;Nurlan Beknurmanov; The study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the literature on enhancing physical education for students in higher education. Metadata were extracted from 5,349 scientific articles indexed in the Web of Science database for the period 1975-2025. The study employs bibliometric procedures to describe and visually represent the existing literature of this field over the past 50 years. Тип записи:Публикация, Improving university students’ engagement in physical education through differentiated instruction and motivational strategies(2025-06-02) ;Nurzhan Temirbay; ; ;Nurlan BeknurmanovZhambyl BeknazarovThis study aims to enhance university students’ engagement in physical education (PE) by applying a set of differentiated instructional strategies and motivational interventions. Declining levels of student participation in PE present a significant challenge in higher education institutions, necessitating pedagogically sound solutions. A quasi-experimental study was conducted at M.Kh. Dulaty Taraz University with 473 undergraduate students from four faculties. The intervention comprised individualized grouping based on fitness levels, theoretical modules on health literacy, flexible class formats (including outdoor activities), and motivational events such as sports competitions. Engagement was measured using pre- and post-intervention questionnaires and statistically analyzed via t-tests and ANOVA. The intervention yielded statistically significant increases (p < 0.001) in student engagement across all measured dimensions, including participation frequency, intrinsic motivation, and satisfaction with PE. Differentiated, student-centered instructional models combined with motivational support significantly improve engagement in university PE settings. The study provides a scalable framework for educators and administrators to improve PE program effectiveness, support student well-being, and foster lifelong healthy behaviors through targeted pedagogical innovations.Цитирования (OpenAlex) 3Цитирования (OpenCitations) 1 - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, Real-time augmented reality-enabled sports exercise monitoring system with personalized recommendations(FEADEF, 2025-10-22) ;Maigul Zhekambayeva ;Perizat Akylzhan ;Aruzhan Nazarova ;Gulbakhar YussupovaErsayin MailybayevIntroduction: the study examined the integration of augmented reality technologies with deep learning in sports exercise monitoring, emphasizing its importance for improving precision, accuracy of execution, and motivation in both professional and educational contexts. Objective: the objective of the research was to develop and evaluate a real-time system for monitoring and classifying sports exercises with personalized recommendations. the scope included assessing the system’s effectiveness in improving exercise accuracy, learning retention, and participant motivation during pedagogical experiments. Methodology: the system applied pose estimation, joint angle validation, and action classification using deep learning models integrated with augmented reality feedback. a controlled pedagogical experiment was carried out with two groups, one experimental group using the system and one control group with traditional instruction. data collection involved pre-tests, post-tests, delayed post-tests, and motivational questionnaires. Results: the experimental group showed significant improvements in exercise accuracy, surpassing the control group’s performance. after two weeks, retention of correct technique remained higher, and participants reported increased interest, enjoyment, and perceived usefulness of training with the proposed system. Discussion: the results were consistent with previous literature emphasizing the role of immersive and interactive technologies in improving motor learning and motivation. however, this research extended earlier findings by confirming that real-time augmented reality guidance enhances both technical performance and long-term retention of exercise skills. Conclusions: the study concluded that the proposed system represents an effective and innovative pedagogical tool for advancing sports training, and its application should be expanded to broader educational and professional environments.Цитирования (OpenAlex) 1 - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, Physical education and student mental well-being in higher education: a socio-cultural review(Frontiers Media, 2026-09-21) ;Nurzhan Temirbay; ; ;Zhambyl BeknazarovZhomart PushkulovThis review examines the role of physical education as a pedagogically grounded means of supporting student mental well-being in higher education. In the context of increasing academic pressure, sedentary lifestyles, and the growing prevalence of mental health challenges among university students, physical education is reconsidered not merely as a fitness-oriented subject but as an integrative educational practice. The study synthesizes international research on pedagogical conditions, instructional approaches, and institutional strategies that connect physical activity with psychological resilience, motivation, emotional regulation, and social engagement. Particular attention is given to student-centered and inclusive models, the integration of digital technologies, interdisciplinary courses linking physical education with health and neuroscience, and mindfulness-based and stress-reduction practices. A comparative analysis of international best practices demonstrates that positive mental well-being outcomes are most evident when physical education is embedded within supportive university policies and holistic learning environments. The findings indicate that pedagogically informed physical education enhances not only students’ physical health but also their academic functioning, sense of belonging, and long-term engagement in healthy lifestyles. The review highlights the need for integrated higher education policies that position physical education as a strategic component of student mental well-being and sustainable university development.
