Тип записи:Публикация, Geographical education: problems of construction textbook of geography for middle school(Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, 2018-01-01); ;Tattigul Shakenova ;Л. Ш. Киясова ;M. TokhsabaevaМ. ТалипбайCurrently, the main factors determining the development of geographic education are humanization, ecologization, politicization, globalization and informatization of the content of education. Among theareas of geographical science, research on the problems of nature management and geoecology, the sustainable development of society and nature, problems of socio-demographic and political-geographicalcharacter are topical. In this connection, the purpose of the geography textbook in the educational process is that it should be a “strategic model” of the learning process, as it reflects the aims of education, the content of education, teaching methods and organizational forms. Simultaneously, the textbook is a “tactical model” of the learning process, as it reveals the sequence of presentation of the teaching material and sets the scenario for the learning process. The aim of the study is to substantiate the content of the geography textbook for secondary schools as an integrated information and activity model of the educational process that reflects the goals, principles, content and technology of the learning process. A textbook is a model in the sense that it not only reflects the structure and content of a certain didactic-methodical system, but also projects its implementation. The scientific and practical significance of the research is that the didactic principles of the construction of a school textbook are proposed, the informational core of which is its multifunctionality; a structural-content model of the school textbook was defined; developed science-based requirements for building a school textbook of geography and practical recommendations for future authors of textbooks. The methodological basis of the research was the current provisions on the personality-activity approach in teaching, the theory of the textbook and the theory of a holistic pedagogical process, the concepts and standards of school geographic education. In this connection, the structure and content of the geography textbook, oriented to the student’spersonal development activity, should assume the appropriate types of educational activity. In the textbook, the goals and objectives of education, the ways to organize the learning situations, the necessaryinformation for the formation of knowledge and competencies, the ways of solving problems, the types of generalization and systematization, consolidation and control, the organization of independent works, the reflection of educational activity and the expected results are proposed. The activity function of the textbook implements the creative educational activity of students and their evaluation position in relation to the material being studied. This approach guarantees the learner increased motivation and effectiveness of training.Цитирования (OpenAlex) 1Цитирования (OpenCitations) 1 - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия

Abdimanapov ;Marat MamadiyarovUse of technology in education enables students to be motivated and eager to participate in the lesson and is also a more effective tool in increasing motivation, encouraging students to the lesson and understanding the sub-ject. The aim of this study is to determine the views of secondary school students on the use of technology in geography lessons. Qualitative re-search method was used in this study. Semi-structured interviews were car-ried out with 32 students who took geography lessons in Kazakhstan dur-ing the 2018-2019 academic year. The semi-structured interview form de-veloped within the scope of this research was used as a data collection tool. Results of the study showed that secondary school students found tech-nology effective and funny to use in geography lessons. Projections, com-puters, tablets and smart phones were specified by the students as useful technological tools for teaching geography. Results of the study were dis-cussed with relevant literature and important implications for further re-search and practices were presented.Цитирования (OpenAlex) 5Цитирования (OpenCitations) 3 - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, Evaluation of students' views on teaching the subject of migration through distance education in Kazakhstan geography course(Science Park Research Organization and Counselling LTD, 2022-01-31) ;Nurbol Ussenov ;Laiskhanov Shakhislam ;Kulyash Duisenbaevna KAIMULDINOVA ;Bakhadurkhan Sh. AbdimanapovThe aim of this study is to determine the important and methodological aspect of examining the population migration patterns of distance education and university students' geography course. 420 university students who continue their education in Kazakhstan participated in the research in the spring term of 2020-2021. Scanning method was used in the research. In the research, a measurement tool called the general opinion measurement tool for the geography lesson, which was developed by the researchers and collected by taking expert opinion in the field of geography, was used. In the research, a 4-week online seminar was organized to increase the views of university students about the geography lesson, and training was given over Microsoft Teams, the interview form was collected with electronic forms after the seminar. The collected data were analyzed using spss program. According to the results of the study, it was concluded that university students' inclination to geography course is higher than male students, university students are familiar with the system for 1-3 years, their inclination to distance education systems is high and population migration patterns are learned well with this system. Тип записи:Публикация, Integration of Digital Technologies in Geography Education: Developing Students’ Analytical and Spatial Thinking SkillsThis study addresses the pressing need to enhance students’ subject-related abilities through the strategic integration of digital technologies in contemporary education. The purpose of the research is to explore effective approaches for improving students’ knowledge, skills, and competencies within the context of geography instruction using digital tools. The research methodology was based on theoretical analysis. In addition, domestic and international practices were compared through meta-analysis. The effectiveness of digital technologies was evaluated. Survey methods were used to collect data, and the results were analyzed using mathematical and statistical methods. It was found that the use of digital technologies has a positive impact on the educational process. The Z-value was 7.731, with a p-value of < 0.001. If we take the alpha value as 0.050, the null hypothesis is rejected. When calculating the t-statistic, the value was t = 3.3130, with degrees of freedom df = 103. The p-value was 0.001, which is less than 0.05, indicating a statistically significant difference between the two groups. The research results showed that the use of digital technologies in geography lessons contributes to the development of students’ spatial thinking, map-reading, and analytical skills, and highlights the importance of enhancing their digital literacy.
