In modern conditions, there is an urgent need for knowledge of management and organization of a choreographic collective that is, mastering the methods of art management. The dance text and its meaning are described in separate episodes, in the characteristics of the characters of the performance. The quotations from the works of Soviet and Russian art historians, ballet scholars, theater critics who studied the ballets of Yu.N. Grigorovich are given. The author draws on the experience of previous generations of scientists and seeks to give independent conclusions on each scene of the performance. The author also describes the historical background to the creation of a musical ballet score. He notes the role of the composer M.I.
