This article addresses the challenges associated with ensuring the successful education and development of school-aged children with special educational needs. In today’s educational landscape, it is critical to create inclusive environments that cater to the diverse needs of these children, regardless of their individual characteristics. Providing equitable and accessible education is the fundamental responsibility of the state, prioritizing the well-being and rights of all citizens. However, achieving this goal relies heavily on the specialized efforts of teachers. By leveraging their expertise, educators play a vital role in ensuring fair treatment and equal learning opportunities for students with varying abilities. To meet these objectives, the study utilized methods of theoretical analysis and empirical research. The primary method involved conducting surveys among teachers and parents, based on a structured questionnaire developed by the authors. The findings highlight the importance of engaging parents or legal guardians, alongside psychologists, in the educational process through active and collaborative interactions. This approach enhances the psychological and pedagogical competencies of teachers working with special educational needs, thereby improving the overall quality of inclusive education. Both positive and negative patterns in the participants’ interactions with a psychologist in educational relations were found by analyzing the survey results. The structure and substance of the psychologist’s work with schoolchildren who have special educational needs, as well as their interactions with teachers, parents, and legal agents, all reflect the peculiarities of their inclusive practice. To achieve this goal, methods of theoretical analysis and empirical data processing were used. The main method was a survey of teachers and parents using a questionnaire developed by the authors. The analysis made it possible to show the need to involve parents (legal representatives) and the teacher of a psychologist in the correctional and educational process by using active forms of interaction with them in order to increase their psychological and pedagogical competence. This, in turn, indicates the need to expand the forms of work with teachers and with parents (legal representatives) of children with special educational needs to teach successfully and develop them accessible methods and techniques for correcting the psyche of schoolchildren.

This study explores the role of innovative technologies in supporting the autonomous development of information culture among adolescents with visual impairments—a population that frequently encounters limited access to digital literacy resources. The aim of the research was to evaluate the extent to which such technologies, particularly those incorporating artificial intelligence, contribute to the development of information literacy, critical thinking, and learner autonomy within this group. A total of 116 adolescents with varying degrees of visual impairment were divided into two groups: experimental and control. The experimental group engaged with adaptive AI-based educational tools, while the control group followed conventional instructional methods. ANOVA was employed to assess differences between groups, revealing that the experimental group significantly outperformed the control group: mean scores in information literacy were 78.3 versus 59.2, critical thinking skills reached 74.5 compared to 55, and learner autonomy was rated at 4.2 out of 5 versus 3.1. These findings underscore the potential of innovative technologies to foster a more inclusive and effective learning environment for adolescents with visual impairments.

This review article examines effective science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) -based teaching strategies designed to support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in educational settings. With the growing global emphasis on STEM education, it is essential to create inclusive learning environments that address the needs of neurodiverse learners. The article synthesizes findings from recent studies on how structured, visual, and technology-assisted instructional strategies enhance academic achievement, conceptual understanding, engagement, communication, and skills. 24 studies were included in the systematic review based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results show that demonstration-guided practice, independent practice, and technology-based interventions were most commonly used in the reviewed studies. Additionally, most studies were conducted in Western and European contexts. The research indicates that STEM interventions for learners with ASD are effective in improving academic skills and subject knowledge in challenging subjects such as science and mathematics. The findings also show that STEM programs enhance social skills, including joint attention, peer communication, and group participation, contributing to social and behavioral improvements. Overall, the evidence suggests that STEM teaching is beneficial and effective for students with ASD in learning STEM topics. Further studies are needed to explore the effectiveness of STEM teaching to students with ASD in developing and underdeveloped countries and middle and high school education.
