Тип записи:Публикация, The Development of Moral Values of School Children with Visual Impairments Folk Music(State University of Semarang, 2023-12-30); ;Butabayeva Laura Askarovna; ; The relevance of the presented paper is conditioned upon the fact that today, the subject of the development of moral values in children with visual impairment through musical motifs of folklore is a very understudied issue. However, based on the statistics of the World Health Organisation for 2021, about 2.2 billion people worldwide have visual impairments. The purpose of this paper is to study the features of the psychological and pedagogical characteristics of children with visual impairments, their moral development, and the development of ways of spiritual and moral education through folk music. To achieve this purpose, the following methods were used: analysis, synthesis, comparison, induction, statistical analysis, and deduction. In particular, the method of statistical analysis of sources of American, Kazakh, and Russian researchers within the boundaries of the subject was used. The practical basis was the statistical data of the WHO company for 2021. The result of the study was a complete analysis of the statistics of children with visual impairment in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The study’s main conclusion is that modern methods of teaching children with visual impairment are based on the musical accompaniment of educational activities since the musical form allows the development of moral values. Visually impaired students are characterised by insufficient development of the visual-imaginative level of mental activity, which determines the uniqueness of specific conceptual thinking due to visual perception disorders and limited visual experience. The alienation of a child with visual impairments from others entails secrecy and lack of communication, which can be expressed in a large volume of complexes in the future. The applied value of this paper lies in the development of recommendations for improving the system of pedagogical education of children with visual impairment through folklore-applied developmental classes.Цитирования (OpenAlex) 1 - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, Formation of Information Culture in Visually Impaired Adolescents through Innovative Technologies(International Journal of Information and Education Technology, 2025-01-01); ;Butabayeva Laura Askarovna ;Aigerim Makhmetova ;Aigerim ChulembayevaThis study explores the role of innovative technologies in supporting the autonomous development of information culture among adolescents with visual impairments—a population that frequently encounters limited access to digital literacy resources. The aim of the research was to evaluate the extent to which such technologies, particularly those incorporating artificial intelligence, contribute to the development of information literacy, critical thinking, and learner autonomy within this group. A total of 116 adolescents with varying degrees of visual impairment were divided into two groups: experimental and control. The experimental group engaged with adaptive AI-based educational tools, while the control group followed conventional instructional methods. ANOVA was employed to assess differences between groups, revealing that the experimental group significantly outperformed the control group: mean scores in information literacy were 78.3 versus 59.2, critical thinking skills reached 74.5 compared to 55, and learner autonomy was rated at 4.2 out of 5 versus 3.1. These findings underscore the potential of innovative technologies to foster a more inclusive and effective learning environment for adolescents with visual impairments. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, STEM-based teaching strategies for children with autism spectrum disorder(Modestum Limited, 2026-06-10) ;Butabayeva Laura Askarovna ;Абильдина Салтанат Куатовна ;Airegim A. Makhmetova ;Айдана ТайболатоваB. Е. KengesThis review article examines effective science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) -based teaching strategies designed to support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in educational settings. With the growing global emphasis on STEM education, it is essential to create inclusive learning environments that address the needs of neurodiverse learners. The article synthesizes findings from recent studies on how structured, visual, and technology-assisted instructional strategies enhance academic achievement, conceptual understanding, engagement, communication, and skills. 24 studies were included in the systematic review based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results show that demonstration-guided practice, independent practice, and technology-based interventions were most commonly used in the reviewed studies. Additionally, most studies were conducted in Western and European contexts. The research indicates that STEM interventions for learners with ASD are effective in improving academic skills and subject knowledge in challenging subjects such as science and mathematics. The findings also show that STEM programs enhance social skills, including joint attention, peer communication, and group participation, contributing to social and behavioral improvements. Overall, the evidence suggests that STEM teaching is beneficial and effective for students with ASD in learning STEM topics. Further studies are needed to explore the effectiveness of STEM teaching to students with ASD in developing and underdeveloped countries and middle and high school education.
