The term "augmented reality," refers to the adding of new data to an existing environment. When contrasted to other innovations, augmented reality may provide benefits not previously available. This research aimed to describe and get a better understanding of the advantages that augmented reality may bring to the training of athletes. In this review we propose the findings were evaluated in terms of their significance in athletics in sports and healthcare sectors. According to the findings of our study, a variety of augmented reality methods could be employed for teaching as well as delivering feedback. It may be possible to change some of the rules in order to level the playing field amongst players with varying levels of expertise. The perception of the audience might be enhanced further by the addition of more information. We also investigated the limits of existing augmented reality systems, as well as their usefulness in training, and offered some pointers for the creation of various types of training situations. This paper describes augmented reality techniques and reviews augmented reality tools for sport and health sciences. Current study describes augmented reality tools. Firstly, we explain what the augmented reality stands for.

In practically every professional sport, the usage of linked computerized performances and monitoring components, data analysis, augmented and virtual reality are standard things. Augmented reality in sporting is being shaped by the interaction of devices and information and communication technology advances. Nevertheless, without analysis, the data collected are useless. In the sporting industry, scientists and researchers are becoming more and more essential to human operations. Even if a variety of data, technology, new measurements, and analytics are readily available on our life, most participants in professional sports do not yet show a strong interest in sports analysis. In this study, we explore augmented reality tools in sport activities and consider augmented reality tools to improve health conditions of students at the universities.

This paper delineates the intricate process of crafting an Augmented Reality (AR)-enriched version of the Subway Surfers game, engineered with an emphasis on action recognition and the leverage of Artificial Intelligence (AI) principles, with the primary objective of boosting children's enthusiasm towards physical activity. The gameplay, fundamentally predicated on advanced computer vision methodologies for discerning player kinesthetics, and reinforced with machine learning tactics for modulating the intricacy of the game in accordance with player capabilities, offers an immersive and engaging interface. This innovative amalgamation serves to not only catalyze children's interest in participating in active exercises, but also introduces a playful aspect to it. The procedural development of the game required the cohesive assimilation of a diverse spectrum of technologies, encompassing Unity for game development, TensorFlow for implementing machine learning algorithms, and Vuforia for crafting the AR elements. A preliminary study, conducted to assess the efficacy of the game in fostering a pro-sport attitude in children, reported encouraging outcomes. Given the potential of the game to incite physical activity among young users, it could be construed as a promising antidote to sedentarism and a potent catalyst for endorsing a healthier lifestyle.

This research paper presents the development of computer vision-enabled augmented reality games based on action detection to increase motivation for sports. With the increasing popularity of digital games, physical activity and sports participation have been declining, especially among the younger generation. To address this issue, we developed a series of augmented reality games that require players to perform physical actions to progress and succeed in the game. These games were developed using computer vision technology to detect the players' movements and provide real-time feedback, enhancing the gaming experience and promoting physical activity. The results of our user study showed that participants who played the augmented reality games reported higher levels of motivation to engage in physical activity and sports. The findings suggest that computer vision-enabled augmented reality games can be an effective tool to promote physical activity and sports participation, especially among younger generations.

This study investigates the impact of physical activity on the quality of life among university students using the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire, focusing on three primary dimensions: physical health, psychological health, and social relations. Sixty students were divided into two groups based on their lifestyle patterns: thirty engaged regularly in sports and physical activities (Group A), and thirty led a predominantly sedentary lifestyle (Group B). The results highlighted significant positive correlations between regular physical activity and both physical and psychological health. Specifically, Group A exhibited superior physical and psychological health scores compared to Group B, substantiating the hypothesis that physical activity significantly enhances these aspects of quality of life. Conversely, no significant difference was found in social relations between the two groups, suggesting that the influence of physical activity on social interactions might be less straightforward and possibly moderated by other unmeasured variables. These findings underscore the necessity for universities to foster environments that encourage physical activities, as part of a broader strategy to enhance overall student well-being and academic performance. The study contributes to the existing literature by reaffirming the multifaceted benefits of physical activity and calls for integrated health promotion strategies within educational institutions to support the holistic development of students. Keywords: physical activity, university students, quality of life, WHOQOL-BREF, psychological health, social relations, sedentary lifestyle, health promotion, student well-being, educational policy.
