QyzPU CRIS — user guide
https://cris.qyzpu.kz — the University's research information system: publications, researcher profiles, departments, journals, analytics. Language — the globe icon in the header (қазақша / русский / English).
Find a publication
- Use the search box on the home page or "Publications" in the menu: title, author surname (in Latin script, as in international databases: Bakirova), DOI, keyword. Full texts of open-access articles are searched too.
- Filters on the left: year, type, author, department, journal, UN SDGs, "Indexed in", open access, language. On a phone — the filters button above the results.
- A publication page shows authors linked to their profiles, journal, DOI, abstract, PDF (for open-access articles), citations; the "Statistics" button shows views and downloads.
Find your profile
- "Researchers" in the menu → search by surname in Latin script. The profile shows publications, citations, h-index, a chart by year, ORCID / Scopus / OpenAlex identifiers.
- Found an error (someone else's article, no department, two profiles for one person)? Send the system administrator the profile link and what to fix.
ORCID
- If your CRIS profile has an ORCID, publications from open sources with that ORCID are linked to you automatically when data are updated.
- No ORCID in the profile? Send it to the administrator (format 0000-0000-0000-0000). You can get an ORCID free at orcid.org.
Add a publication by DOI
Available if the administrator has given you the right to add records.
- Log in. User menu → "My dashboard" → "Import metadata from an external source" (or https://cris.qyzpu.kz/import-external?entity=Publication).
- Choose Crossref or OpenAlex Search by DOI → enter the DOI → "Search".
- Click the record found → "Start submission" → choose a collection.
- Check the form, fill in what is missing → "Deposit".
Search CRIS by DOI first: almost all of the University's publications are already loaded.
